The Boom Locking Mechanism is Terrible

Normally I am a massive fan of millenium products and have a full set of drum hardware made by them. This however is the exception, the boom arm tightening mechanism is very weak and cannot hold even mildly heavy microphones when outstretched. I have now tried the the Superlux MS-108E and it is an incredible stand for the price with a much better build quality.
