Flimsy

Maybe I got a lemon, but the legs were not very stable.

Good value

For the money it's a good product. Stabile and easy to adjust to the sound source. Looks like it is going to last for a long time if you're treating it ok. I recomend it for home recordings and occasional gig. Not for touring.

Mic Stand

This stand fills the gap, working bands can't afford to over indulge on what can be considered peripheral gear. If it stands up and holds the mic the that will do.To be fair there is not much wrong with that logic that is its sole purpose. However as we all know its not the standing up thats the problem, it's the constant packing up and down and adjustment. The cheap's do the job for a few gigs then the adjusters come loose, the rods slip, and the mic wont stay were you put it. As I said the Millenium MS 2007 fills the gap the adjusters are strong and they do the job as long as most stands twice the price.

Good for a rehearsal space

Well, it's about as cheap as they come but surprisingly I've never had one fail. Used to have a few of these in rehearsal spaces for years with zero problems. They're not hard to knock over, tho. And they're pretty flimsy, meaning anything heavier than a standard handheld dynamic (think SM58) will have the Millenium leaning to one side.

Get something sturdier if you're looking to put a reflection filter and/or a broadcast-type mic on a stand.

Good solid stand.

Needs tightening up when it arrives but once done this a great mic stand for the money. Stable and easy to adjust. Easilly reaches over my single keyboard stand and allows me sing and play with no problems. The tubular framework is very tough but some of the plastic fittings are a little delicate but you get what you pay for. Would buy again.
