Not the best, not the worst

A pretty average mic stand. Certainly used worse but not close to a K&M stand. Good at a cheap price and does the job. Just lacks that quality.

Good for general use - joints seem to slip

I needed a mic stand for myself and for overheads /snare on drums. This stand did the job, but I often found when using on the snare that the mic stand would eventually slip till the mic was resting on the snare, not above it.

Only a minor issue as it took around 25/30 minutes to happen- but did proceed happening

broke the "metal" handle after 2 years, doesnt stand too well either

good quality, good price

A great price for a nice sturdy tool that does its job in my home studio, would reccomend looking at something a little more solid for heavy stage and studio work as this is quite light, which is convenient for travelling.

Good with some stability issues

The stand is doing the job done, especially combined with a dynamic mic. I tried to work it with a mic screen but I had issues with stability, couldn't handle it right. For light use, it is a good option for the price.

Does the job but not suitable for heavy mic

Great stand. Does what it is supposed to. The only downfall is that it will hold the mic in place for the majority of the time then randomly gets lazy and sinks down to the bottom of the stand. I have a Rode NT1-A mic with this. Worth the money but I can understand why some people might get annoyed

Steady

A good stand for stage or studio..

This stand is useful for you if you want to build muscle.

This is a very heavy mic stand. For some it is a minus for some a plus. In my case, it is probably more a minus, but still it is very high quality and stable. And this is the main thing for a microphone stand.

I had no issues at all! It’s great!

Did its job until I tried dismantling it.

On my effort to dismantle it, one small plastic thing from the tube broke, and the whole mic stand has to be replaced now.

I use a lot of these recording my drum kit in studio and overheads and vocal live,stands up well, just watch any mis-stepping setting up, if base stood on accidentally can warp where more expensive models might take the hit, otherwise they do well.

It holds the mic!

A good singing stand

A good singing stand, 3 years every other weekend gig, 3 years is its lifespan, which is a very good period.

Ok for studio, dies with gigging

These would suit well if you set them up and leave them be. I believe they would hold their own and work well in that kind of studio setting where you don't open and close them all the time. However the screwholes lose their winding if used often.

I bought these just to test them out and to be honest, the even cheaper ones by millenium can take more of a beating. So as always depends on the intended usage- fine for delicate use, won't survive gigging for long.

Considering the price point, I'm not even mad :D. A successful experiment.

Junk

I understand it's cheap yada yada, but you'll be buying a new stand not long after. The main screw just completely gave up. Buy k&m, save the environment and your wallet in the long run.

Good stand

I've bought this stand in a microphone pack to start my online recording journey. It still stands well and still works pretty good. Worth it!

If you can afford it, buy a higher-end stand

TLDR:

Pros:

- for its price, it gets the job done;

- again, for its price, you don't feel bad for banging it around;

- it's versatile in terms of positioning, unless you're looking for extreme angles;

Cons:

- only good when stationary. moving the boom around unlocks the screw that holds the lower and upper parts of the base rod.

- the horizontal adjustment of the boom is difficult - the screw there doesn't always hold the boom in its place. especially if you have a heavier mic;

Now, if you're looking at this product, you probably want to get the cheapest mic stand, whatever the reason. With this in mind, this is definitely a choice that can make for yourself and you'll be moderately happy.

Do have in mind though that if your setup is one where your microphone needs to move around and not be stationary, this happiness won't last much.

The screwing/locking mechanism that holds the lower to the upper portion of the base is not good. After a couple of weeks of use, you would need to screw it super tight to have it able to hold the boom of the stand at the desired height. This is also a problem in cases where the floor or carpet is not perfectly even - the screwing mechanism will not prevent the boom from swinging around which is quite frustrating. Furthermore, when you move the boom around, the twisting motion will "unlock" the screw and the whole boom will fall down. Not cool if you happen to be speaking at the same time.

One more negative aspect of this product is that it is impossible to have the boom in a horizontal position and extended at maximum. If that's a setup you need to achieve, be prepared that you'll need to put some weight to the legs of the stand, otherwise it just falls over.

Overall, if you're looking for a stand you're going to be using for a long time, I'd advise you to look for something of a higher quality. This one is really not worth it in the long run. I already sold mine.
