Honest Mic Stand

I bought this microphone stand for my Rode NT1a which is a bit of a heavy microphone, and this stand did the job and it is strong enough to hold the condenser mic. For now I have no concern about it.

Millenium MS-2003

Millenium MS-2003 is a mic stand and does what a mic stand should do. I use it with the Apogee ONE audio interface so it's always at home in a safe environment. If you need a mic stand for heavy duty on the road I guess I would recommend another Manufacturer but this one might do the job. I just haven't tested my stand on the road.

It works great for my home studio and that's good enough

A bit wiggly, but good none the less

This is not the heaviest or most stable microphone stand I have ever used, but it is most likely the cheapest! It has all necessary features and good height, and as long as you don't run into it directly it will probably stay in place.

For stage use (especially if you run around a bit like me) I would recommend something heavier, but for studio use or musicians who stay in one place this is excellent!

Good enough for the price.

If you're looking for a cheap mic stand, for occasional use, take this one to take into account. Very versatile and firm. Maybe not for intensive or rough treat.

A Durable stand that just gets the job done.

The Millenium MS-2003 is a great choice for home or professional studios.

The locking mechanism on the base is very sturdy, and the multiple tightening mechanisms in the centre contribute to very flexible application.

The stands can hold a decently weighted microphone and the joint mechanism joint is reliable and does not droop during use.

The only downside to this stand, which is inherent in all stands of its class, is that for recording instruments that are performed by seated musicians, the stand requires a bit of adjusting to be of use as the stand can only drop to a particular height. That said, it is a simple fix and there is nothing bad that can be said about this stand. I have several of them and have yet to find adequate reason to move to another manufacturer.

A great buy at a great price.

Great for the price

A very affordable stand with reliable adjustable features. I've used them for home recording of drums, guitar, vocals etc. and had no problems. The only limitation for some may be that lateral extension too far with a heavy microphone may be prone to tipping, so a heavier base may be required. But it was fine with my sE2200a for drum overheads, and for the money it's great.

With a product like this the money/quality ratio is key. Clearly these aren't the kind of stands that will last 20 years. But for home studio use the are solid enough and do the job.

The mic stand is great for its price but could be better

When you extend the mic stand to its limit it fails to hold just a NT-5 without slowly sliding down, unless you spend several minutes fiddling with it. When its legs are fully extended it's still not completely stable and I would not recommend using it outside, or in windy conditions. Aside from that, this is still a easy to use mic stand that's well built and can do most jobs put to it.

Nice simple stand. Not much to say.. it gets the job done,

i gotta add that if you telescope them to the max, they can sway a little, so be careful not to extend them like all the way up, though you rarely need to.

Good surprise

When I first bought this stand, i did not thing that this product would surprise me. But the truth is that i was not expecting this kind of stability on a simple stand. Its accurate on its position (do not move after you tie it out), and it only falls on extreme positions.

Conclusion: if i need to buy more stands, i will buy these ones !!

Well done

I was looking for a back up microphone stand and I didn't want to spend too much money. It's only for emergency and for unpredictable situations.

The handling is very good, the stability is also O.K., even if you bend it down to a guitar box or something else on the bottom.

low price good quality

Microphone stand for this price is amazing. It's doing it's job as it must do. But you can use it for light microhones not for heavy ones.

Good, although a little wobbly

For the price you cant argue. I got it in a bundle with my Shure SM57 and sssnake SM10 BK cable.

Has a good range of positions. The legs are pretty sturdy.

My main problem is the arm is really wobbly (not loose.)

Once your set up its all good. No issues, but when setting it up it wobbles alot and makes getting it in the right spot tedious. But it isnt a major issue over all.

A good standard stand

I got this as part of a bundle.

Like most 'peripheral' items such as this it does what it says on the tin at a good price. It is fairly rugged, like most are, and pretty affordable.

Perfect for things like vocals.

Of course you could use it to mic up a cab or snare etc but it is a little big for that.

Good value for this price

This stand is a good value for this price. I've ordered this for overhead microphones, it works fine as long as you are using it in house. thought I don't think this is good enough for a band using it on stage every day.

Decent Quality, Lightweight and Low Cost Mic Stand

Although these mic stands aren't heavy-duty, they're a good option if you need lightweight, economical stands. Although I own some more solid stands, these are great for less demanding situations, and more importantly they're MUCH lighter to drag around. The quality is reasonable at the price, but I wouldn't expect them to live forever! At this price I really don't mind and they're great if you need a bunch of stands relatively cheaply. They have a slightly smaller footprint than my other stands - this can be handy at times but I would be wary of putting any really good mics on them fully extended without using some form of counterweights!

It works fine!

This is a good budget stand.

It is easy to adjust and looks good. I have worked with better stands witch have more stable booms but for the price it is an great home studio stand.

Great value.

The microphone stand is great value for money! I have no experience of other stands so all I can say is, it works and allows lots of adjustment to get the optimum position of the microphone.

Good Quality

It is a copy of the K&M stand, there is very little differences, it is slightly lighter but is just as sturdy. Will adjust to most positions with a standard thread for attaching mic clips.
