Great stand for the price, im want some mores.

Good budget stand

I love that I can mount 2 mics on this!

If its good enough for you its good enough for me.

Yeah the centre part is plastic but what do you expect for under 10 euro? As long as you don't go mad at it like a wild animal and set it right to start off with that shouldn't be a problem. Used it for 3 long gigs now thought i'd give it a whirl at least before reviewing it. Its good i didn't expect too much when i bought it but so far so good will update my review to say how long the plastic part lasted in time but for now i'm happy.

It's a great product for this price.

Great for the price

Brilliant mic stand for the price. Used mainly for recording from guitar amps but sometimes live vocals.

Only issue I've had is when using a heavy mic it can topple when bent down to place near an amps speaker. Easy to work around but base is not weighted

Good value for money, very robust!

USE:

The Millenium MS-2005 Microphone stand with boom arm is the very best choice to support your microfones with easy adjustability. It has a strong build mechanisms and it can be usefull to take it to stage live performances, at home or at studio.

SUMMARY:

The Millenium MS-2005 stand is suitable for almost every situations, like holding a pair of heavy tube mics as overheads when recording a drum kit or simply hold microfones for vocals. The best thing about this stand is the different sections of it, so you can easely adjust heights. The boom can be extended out as far as it can go with mic on it and the counter balance is very strong, a good base for mic placements.

If you want to buy a very cheap mic stand, this is the deal. Just use it with careful just like everything else and you'll never ever have one problema with it.

Does the job

I got this mic stand for my Behringer B2 Pro, which is a heavy microphone.

I record mainly acoustic guitars and vocals and the stand allows me to use my mic in various positions with stability.

This is a very good mic stand in this price range and does the job well.

The product doesn't feel high end, but it's good enough for home use.

I gave it 5 stars because it's still very decent and you can't get anywhere near it's price tag on other products.

In my opinion, a great stand both for vocals and for instrument needs. Stand itself is sturdy and used in band setting doesnt show any signs of damage.

All in all, I would recommend this stand to everyone who is interested.

Why Spend More?

I have used these stands at a couple of gigs and also use them at home for recording. They are fairly light, pretty sturdy and easy to set up in the position you want. There isn't much more you could really ask for in a mic stand.

With this product you get a decent quality mike stand at a price far below some other brands. Sure you could spend more and get something a little more durable but I can't see it being worth the investment unless maybe you have an incredible heavy gigging schedule. Also, these stands may not be particularly suitable for certain situations, like holding a pair of heavy tube mics as overheads when recording a drum kit, but many more expensive stands would also struggle with this.

I have only had these stands a few months and only time will tell how reliable/durable they really are but personally, unless something cheaper comes to the market, I can't see myself buying any other brand of mic stand in the future.

Does the job

No problems with this mic at all used in studio and live settings and holds up perfect no need to spend lots of money on mic stands when you have this

Budget Stands

Needed some stands for a jam night and these seem to fit the bill nicely.

They are cheap and lightweight and probably wont stand up to gigging level use once a week.

They do what you need them to do and thats hold a mic in place. Good height adjustment and reach

Good Quality for what you pay

A mic stand that for how much it costs is very reliable. I have had it for over a year now and have used it quite regularly and have so far not had any problems with it; no breakages, loosening around the boom etc. The boom can be extended out as far as it can go with mic on it and the counter balance is great on it (Should the boom be placed over a leg of the stand and depending on size & weight of the mic used). Another plus and feature to this mic stand is that you can attach an additional microphone to it via the thread next to the locking screw of the boom so if the stand is being used in a live sense then it can be used to mic your vocals as well as an acoustic guitar with just the one stand.

Great stand - multi purpose!

This is a great stand.

It can be used as a vertical stand and also a boom stand.

The fixings are tight and sturdy. Because the stand is light, it can move around during use, but if you are using it for static work, it is more than adequate.

The price is right too!

Great Mic Stand!

This is a great stand at a great price! What more can I say! Exactly as described and looks good in use. It folds up nice and small for storage, and yet is very stable when in use on stage etc. A fantastic item, that I will almost certainly buy again!

Cheap but not really stable stand

Cheap, good and satisfied totally its purpose! But quite stable, he is not. For athletic singer not necessarily recommendable :) After all, he folds up small and is it also light! As a backup in the trunk he is definitely good enough!

great value boom stand

I bought this for home use and occasional travel

It folds away as compactly as you could ask for

Fully extended, it could be used for unambitious over-head mics

the boom hinge feels flimsy, and won't support a large mic while the arm pulled out fully, horizontally, but i imagine it would have no problem with a small mic like an NT5.

The main vertical portion is topped with another threaded bolt with an adapter for large clips. This allows you to remove the boom section leaving you with a straight stand, or support 2 mics on 1 stand, which should be an option on every stand but doesn't seem to be.

Works perfectly brilliant price!

I got this to hold my tbone mb85. Does the job! Sturdy enough and can take falls and knocks. Easy to pack away and set up. Good product and cheap price! I'd recommend this to anybody!

Elegant but robust angle stand.

I used this for the first time today to mike-up a singer guitar player. The guy was singing and playing at the same time and I wanted to get the maximum from his mouth and the minimum spill over from the guitar. Fortunately this stand was very easy to angle into place so I could get just the right orientation on the microphone to do just that. I liked how easy it was to set up because the manufacturer had used different handle-styles on each adjustment screw so it it easy to figure which adjusts what. Also from an aesthetic point of view, while a very robust, sturdy piece of kit, the stand is made of quite fine tubing, so it is light to carry around and being painted black it would be most unobtrusive in a stage setting. This is the best angled microphone stand I've owned by a long chalk and available at such a very reasonable price - I will certainly be ordering more of these in the future.
