Poor quality

Unless you plan on setting these things up once and leaving them alone forever, it won't take long before they start to come apart with mild use.

No long term solution

The build quality is not the best. I have two and they have both broken at the tilter.

Don't expect too much (edited)

It is cheap so keep your expectations limited. I like the double mounting. You can put a tablet stand on top and your microphone. Not too stable so be careful particularly with heavy microphones (like the Elvis model) and laptops.

Recommend spending a bit more as this stand lasted maybe a year in a rehearsal room and being used maybe once a week or even less. I am now switching to K&M, Gravity and On-Stage

Simple stand

It's a very simple stand with no much flexibility and of course not much handling capabilities. I would recomend that stand only on begginers if you really need one and being on a very tight budget.

The mechanism it has for angle adjustments it's a bit weird and it broke super easily. So you need to be super gentle using it

Broke after 2 uses

The stand disintegrated after using it twice. it is really only capable of holding very light microphones in conventional, non-changing positions.

Boom arm broke

Boom arm broke almost immediately after taking out of the box. Not worth it. Now using it as as vocal mic stand but anyway not worth it.

The angle broke after a very small period of time without extended usage.

Cheap and unreliable product

Got a few of these in mic bundles. Simply not worth it. Cheap make (two broke within a couple of usages). Save your money and buy better quality.

Light use and useless

Mechanism stopped working with very little use; in theory a good design, but in practice poor quality. Bought 2015 and used very little before no longer functional.

Useless

The locking screw doesn't do the job, no matter what the stand keeps folding eventually when a mic is mounted. Useless in any other than upright position.

worst stand ever

One of the worst thing ever from millenium series..from unpacking it had some color crack on bottom part...after that, the thing for lifting stand up and down just broke apart, now stand is completely unusable...The only good thing was that it was not expensive.

Waste of money

I bought three of these and two of them broke while tightening the middle screw on the second or third use, you can save them if you remove the boom arm and only use the rest of the stand ending with a straight stand, but that's probably not what you are looking for.

i suggest to spend a little more on another stand and get something you can use over time.

did not live long with hard work

Kind of okay

This stand came to me with the shure sm58. I did not care for it much as I do not use it very often. I have to say it isn't the most useful stand ,since it is pretty hard to make it stay standing and if you really need to use a stand you could go for something better. You get what you pay for so you shouldn't expect too much form this.

Will Break

The joint is made of flimsy plastic and breaks easily. Because the joint has no friction pads you have to tighten his up quite a lot and run the risk of shattering the plastic. The boom does not work with any mic with any weight.

If you wish to take the boom off and use as a straight stand it is okay, however, the stand has no weight and can easily fall over when used with larger mics.

If you are looking for a mic stand that is cheap and will not shatter like this one, buy the fun generation mic stand.

Studio use only, if at all

Very disappointing. As many other reviewers have described, the boom hinge is completely inadequate. Terribly unstable under the weight of an SM58 ? another collapse during recording and I'll be out of fingers on which to count such incidents. Needless to say one shouldn't trust this in a live situation. I now use these as a backup, reluctantly, and will not be buying again

Concept is good, but quality is poor

For the price the thought behind the joints and handling are appreciated, but the build quality is just terrible. After the second use the boom angle screw just gone to live his life alone from the rest of the stand. And now after almost a year of useage, the stand became really wobly and unstable.

Very Cheap

Perfect if you are going to set it up once and never use it again.

However, every single one of these that I bought has shattered into a million pieces on the plastic pivot where the boom meets the stand.

They are all now fixed together with gaffa tape.

Buy a K&M stand if you need it for longer

This stand will be usable for about 2 years then you can throw it away. For that time it is a good deal. Anything more and you end up paying more than if would have bought a more quality stand in the first place.
