Love it!

Love this stand, portable yet versatile. Good Q for the price.

Great

Sits in my recording studio under my snare.

Been there for years.

No problems and it's very inconspicuous - which, in this case is exactly what I want.

Top :-)

Great stand for bass drum

Works great for my bass drum, though the arm is a bit too long for me.

Perfect budget option

Very stable, great for setting up mics on a guitar cabinet.

Best bang for the buck

Great stand, smooth and heavy enough.

stand still

Using this stand for my kick drum mic - easy, durable, adjusting is good.

So good I bought two.

Originally bought one to mic a guitar cab (which I never got, thanks UPS) But upon taking it out the box I thought "damn that has some weight to it."

Screwed it into the base, slapped a mic into it and fiddled with it, unlike the mic stands from my college days, these actually stay in place and don't drop slowly, it's amazing. The wire clamps keep the wires where you want them so I thought "y'know what? I'll keep this one on my desk and i'll just buy a second one." Gives another meaning to the phrase "buy cheap buy twice". Highly recommend.

it is fantastic for the money

But now low enough to fit into the back of the bass drum... it is for about 4 inches inside the sound hole to 4 inches outside... it will tip over if not balanced, note: I used a e602 mk1 which is really heavy, but the stand itself is a good weight and well made.

All as expected

Solid stand - not too light, not too heavy for a table top mic holder that is easy to adjust.

Good choice

one of the economical microphone stands in the trade, but it does its job quite well, it does not loosen, it is made of good material, it does not break, as far as the weight at the bottom is concerned, the whole base simply should not be on one side, it should be somewhere in the middle, for the work I use in combination with the sm57 and 906e on my guitar amplifier it is quite good, negative I have not found anything so far!

TOP for its price

Nothing to say about it, for the price, it does its job brilliantly.

Pros: sturdy, cheap and easy to use.

Cons: be carefull while tightinh up the arm to the base

Sturdy. Solid. Small.

Bought this for mic-ing up my guitar amp, and it doesn't take up as much room as if it were a full sized stand. Very happy with it. The bass and build quality are very solid.

Stable doesn't quite define it

Got it to record my guitar amp without raising it too much, and was pleasently surprised when it arrived. It's heavy. And boy, do I mean heavy! A lot of other mic stands I've had over the years couldn't really be trusted to still stand when fully extended, but this one can be trusted with it's full range of motion no problem, mainly due to the base plate being so amazing.

And finally, it looks great. I really like Millenium products because they're inexpensive, and at worse they do in a pinch, but sometimes they do so well that you became a loyal customer, and this is the latter case.

Did I mention it's heavy?

Heavy means reliable. If the club owner doesn't pay you, you can always throw the mic stand at him.

Great for mic'ing an amp

I bought this to use for amp mic'ing using my SM57. For the money it is great value. I have it in my home studio meaning it is not moved around much. I am not sure it would last that long if it was set up and taken down regularly, but for a relatively static use, I cannot fault it.

So for use in a studio where it is not changed too often, it is perfect. The base is circular and designed to take up a minimum of floor space. It does mean setting the stand up initially will require you to balance the beam, but the advantage is the minimum requirements to the surroundings.
