Nice and helpfull

Good quality, very practical, easy to setup and steady.

It is a little bit sticky when you open or close it. I would prefer to be a little bit lighter.

Compact Useful & Heavy Duty Enough

Overview

I couldn't have asked for a better stand for my Mackie Onyx 1620 Series mixer. I was worried it might take up too much space in my small studio, or that it would not be very sturdy considering the price. But on all counts this has far exceeded my expectations.

My Experience

I have used this for my Mackie Onyx 1620i Series Mixer in a pretty tight space in my home studio. I was impressed with how snugly this product fit into place, taking up the minimum amount of space and allowing for other things to fit between and next to it.

The first thing I was impressed by was how easy it was to assemble. Most of the work had been done for me, which is helpful for people like me who aren't very patient or are useless at DIY. A quick feel and it seemed very strong.

The mixer popped straight on top and stayed firmly in place. Most importantly it also felt like it was taking the weight easily, and had the stand has the flexibility to increase the size to hold something bigger. Put simply if I upgrade to a bigger desk, I won't need to replace the stand. The same applies if I get a smaller one.

No modifications of the desk were needed, it was the stand equivalent to plug in and play once it is together.

Something that is important to me as well, is how it looks. Again it passes with flying colours. It looks professional and easy on the eye.

Pros:

- Easy to assemble.

- Sturdy.

- Fits snugly into small studios.

- Can be used for multiple size desks.

- Doesn't take up much more space than it needs to.

Cons: (For my needs there have been none).

- A bit of extra space or rack mounting option would be nice.

- Crossbars at rear limit space for putting things underneath. But still leave space for things to fit.

Versitile stand

Use this with my A&H Qu-16 and its a charm. Quick to setup and compact for transport. Perfect for my type of gigs where I need to be setup in 30min with all my gear :)

Not as rugged as it appears

After its first van ride with the rest of the gear it got sightly bent and wont stand solidly...I can probably bend it back into place but I thought it would be a bit more hard wearing.

Nice stand on all other accounts though, just a little soft for gigging.

Essential kit when gigging

I use this stand for Dynacord powermate 1000, and presonus 1642 desks.

It folds up small and is very solid. I do sound myself while playing and I find it very handy when stages are tight, as it allows me to store equipment under the desk between the legs of the stand. If you spend money on your desk it makes sense to have something sturdy to operate it from.

highly recommended.

Decent Product, poor thread quality

When this product works it is very good indeed, however the thread quality to tighten the stand isn't of an appropriate quality. When one of the threads was no longer operational on my old stand after a number of years, I bought another, however a thread on the new stand was not operational after a short time. It still works with 1 operational thread, but isn't the way it is supposed to be.

The product is still OK, however due to the quality of this last purchase I have to mark the score down. If you want something more robust, I would look at other alternatives, however if you want something at a good price that "does the job", then buy this.

Excellent

Great construction quality. Very, very stable. You can put a heavy mixer / other instrument on top of it and feel confident that it will stay stable. Good width, adjustable. Height is always the same, regarding the chosen width. Would buy another, if needed, in a blink.

Solid, Sturdy Stand for Mixer or Powered Mixer

Just like many weekend warrior bands, we waste time while setting up searching for tables, chairs or boxes to stand our Peavey XR1212 on. Inevitably, it's a rickety table or a chair where it's the wrong height and you can't get access to the back panel to plug in mains and speaker cables.

What I like about this unit is that the open frame construction allows me easy access to the connectors , gives me about the right angle of the mixer controls and can be set to the right width.

It is one extra item to carry but it's about the right compromise between weight and super touring strength. You would not use it with a touring band but for us, it's a really useful piece of kit making the job much easier.

Sturdy

This has been a reliable stand so far, going strong 6 years on. Well built and does it's job perfectly, I've used it to support various mixers / keyboards over the years with no problems at a all.

A good sturdy mixer stand.. I purchased this after reading other reviews and im pleased.. my mixer is flightcased with four rubber feet and I found that adjusting the MX1000 width so the f /case feet sit inside the stands slanted top rails adds peace if mind while gigging..

Millenium MX-1000 mixer stand

Good solid mixer stand. On maximum width it fits the Thon mixer case for Soundcraft MFXi 12 like a glove - with the rubber feet slipping just inside the bars preventing any sideways movement - custom made!!

Recommendable piece of gear

Long times we placed our live mixing console on... ehm... whatever we found at the venue. That resulted in unfirm or hard-to-access placement of the console.

I was fed up with that and ordered the Millenium stand which is a great improvement in many points. Okay, we have to carry yet another piece of gear, but it's a great help. The console stands securely on it in a good position, is easy to access and below is space for other stuff. In our case I place my tiny 1x12 bass rig below it. That saves space on small stages. And as I am our live-PA-man I have all the stuff I must access near by. I love it!

Every Mixing Desk Should Have One

Bought this for my Dynacord 1000 Powermate III desk, which I use in it's Thon Flightcase. Very easy/useful width adjustment to suit a arrange of mixing desks and packs flats. Saves me a lot of hassle of trying to find suitable tables in Pubs/clubs/venues etc. Solidly built and does the job well.

Perfect for a heavy synth

This stand is slanted, so it is not exactly a synth stand. But if you own a heavy vintage synth, you need something rock solid and stable. I have purchased this stand for a Minimoog Model D, and it fits perfectly. For me, being slanted is a plus, the angle and height are just right for playing in sitting position.

As a mixing deck stand, I cannot imagine anything more appropriate. And the price is very reasonable. Recommanded!

Stand by your desk

Stable, folds flat and you can put a mixer on it.
