Seems functional.

I've been playing-... Attempting drums for a short amount of time, and double bass is something I aspire to not be garbage at, and for that I need a double pedal... But i'm cheap and not very good so in the budget section I looked, and I found this beauty.

It seems sturdy enough to not fall apart like my love life, comes with a drumkey for assembly and a nice little carry bag thing. I tried playing with the tension a little bit but didn't really notice any difference, so I stopped caring and moved on.

Works like any other pedal, foot down, beater forward. I can't say how well it will do in a live setting with extremely fast use, but if you're doing a live show you're probably not using something cheap for practice.

All in all, practice? Go for it. Live? Maybe get something higher budget.

Reasonably good for the price

First of all, we get an ultimate package for just 70 bucks..... double chain drive, dual beaters, and a carry bag. Though a bit noisy, the pedals are smooth and accurate.

One problem is that the beater heads tend to turn around quite a lot, but I solved it by fixing the heads with strong glue. I think that it should be durable due to a double chain drive....but I have had it only for a month, so I can't say anything. Now about the quality, the pedals are made of some plastic which is prone to get scratches all around it. Rest all?.. that's top class!!!

Worth it if you're a beginner

So I've recently started to fiddle with the drums. I wanted to try some double bass action since I mainly listen to heavier types of music and decided to go for this pedal.

IMO for this price this pedal is extremely worth it. I have no complaints about the quality other that during my initial setup it squeaked a bit, but that was easily fixed., They are more easily adjustable than I expected. It feels good to play, its easily used and adds a whole lot of versatility that can open you up to new types of music!

Two for one!

This is an easy to use double bass pedal. You can also use one pedal for a quick gig of for practising. (2 heads on one pedal, but you control only the right one offcourse). The bag is fine for the pedal, but actually a bit too smal and too 'soft' (it moves in all direction if you try to get the pedals in the bag). Better buy a hardcase.

Its very easy to set up and taking down. Good product for good money!

Great for starting with a double pedal

i bought these pedals back in 2011 and boy did they do me well, the little metal head i was sure as hell happy to get them, i played them a lot and i mean a lot, did me well, i?ve since moved to a dw 5000 series, but for a ¤69 product that lasted me 5-6 years i recon they done well, the problem i had was the foot bord on the right pedal came off the pin that was holdingit, i did a quick fix for the time before i got my dws, and that was just a welding rod put threw, but all in all, very good for it?s price wouldn?t of expected any more, millennium are really some of the best value for money on the market, i got multiple boom stands from them and there?s no problem, but all in all i can?t fault them, for the price you get a decent pedal, never gave any trouble until the foot bord, there quite light too alot lighter then my 5000 series, so for a beginner i would recommend.

Great product !

It's a great product for it's given price, really easy to use and to put in the bag. A bit difficult to fix on the kick, it moves really often if you play a lot of double bass, but it's easy to put it right again !

Aprecieri pt: Millenium PD-669 Stage Double Bass Pedal

Bought this as the first double kick pedal and have to say i am impressed with the quality for the price. Works well, the tension and feedback is not the best, but for the price can't really complain.

The only Con to this is that after a week, the spring from the right pedal broke and had to be replaced. Easy fix, so no big deal.

Overall it is a very good piece of gear for the price.

Budget double bass pedal for the masses

The Millenium PD-669 double pass pedal kit, comes in a good bag, well packed and protected, includes a drum key for installation but no instructions for setup. As a beginner and relatively new to drumming i didn't find it too difficult to set up, but for the spring tension on the pedal and other details i would have found it useful to have instructions on how to set it up.

I found the build quality crude but sturdy with plenty of features, i would recommend buying some grease or lube to keep the pedal pristine.

It has good rubber pads and sticks to carpets nicely, it has also two bolts to stick into the ground to help hold it in place when playing.

I use this pedal to learn double bass metal drumming and have found no issue with movement, the clamp is good and adjustable, the bass heads are of good quality and i if you are using it actively the felt will last for a good while.

The foot board is very sturdy and has no jiggle, and is comfortable to play for a long time.

Overall my impressions are good, i find it has amazing build quality for the price. A sturdy but crude double bass pedal but it will get the job done.

Great for starting out

I wanted to get something cheap that would get the job done while I was learning how to play drums, these were great for that.

I used them in rehearsals and in the studio, but i'm not a good enough drummer to properly put them through their paces (as i was only learning)

Would recommend as a first double bass pedal, or a back up.

Great for beginners.

I bought this double bass pedal for practices without expecting much for such price, but I was surprised that it served and still serves me well after 2 years of everyday practicing at home and some gigs.

Of course while using it i usually had to repair or replace some parts of it, but if you take a good care of this pedal, then it is the profitable pedal for beginners in this price range.

Medium

I wouldn't call it profesional. After a few months the foot plate broke in two. Also its quiet big. Not very handy. I would go for chip series from well known brands

Very good start

The pedal is really good for the price range. I had to make some adjustments in the chains to level up both pedals and align both kicks. But otherwise, the pedal it has good quality and you can play fast. Of course, it's not soft as the more expensive brands, but it does the work. If you want to start and train your muscles, this is a good one to go. I don't regret at all about the pedal and I'm happy with that. If you have limited budget, this is the best pedal for you.

Good and cheap starter double pedal

Although mine started to fall apart after a year or so of rock/metal beating, I can say that it is a very good starting point for any drummer. Considering brand name pedals are more than double the price, and you don't necessarily buy the best double pedal when starting to learn how to drum, I would recommend this pedal for a starting point and if budget is the issue.

Millenium PD-669 Stage Double Bass Pedal

Really nice to start with...

It is probably the best choice for any beginner who now starts learning the double pedal technique and

don't want to waste a huge amount of money for just

start learning.

You may experience some small issues like I did (ex. not so good alignment) but

it's okay for the price + the issues can be covered through patents...

Generally really OK

Great double bass pedal for a beginner!

I bought this 2 years ago because i didn't have any experiencie with double bass, so i had to start somewhere. Since i didn't knew how i would like it, i bought the cheapest ones available in case i wouldn't like them, i wouldn't have much of a loss. 2 years later, i've been liking them so far, but they got some type of looseness. They still work, but they are not as good as new. I don't know if it was because of my lack of experience or something like that, but they didn't survive as i was expecting. But... considering the price, they are a good investment if you, like me, want to learn how to double bass.

Great quality at a very low price

Nice material, hard construction, a very responsive piece of equipment. Very glad with it.

The double pedal is very versatile in that it can be used as two single pedals. Its built to be heavy duty and comes in a nice carry case. The pedal works well but has occasionally stuck mid-way through playing (the mount which supports the batter arm slips and then gets jammed)

I would say the pedal is good value for money but it has its problems.
