Sounds like a vibraslap

Great for occasional home use. Kids love it!

Beautiful Instrument

We've had a lot of fun with the vibra slap, have used it in recordings and so have some friends. Adds a fun element to songs or a bit of atmosphere, depending on the effect you want. Its also just a nice looking instrument, the wood is great quality and it is built well.

Millenium VS200 Vibra Slap

Very fun sound for percussion setup! Nice quality and sound for the price!

It works

You hit it, it makes the brrrrrrrrrroing noise you expect it to. That's about all there is to it. I wish it didn't have a giant Millennium stick on the end (or at least put it on the bottom), but whatever.

Cheap and functional

For the price it's clearly ok.

quality looks reliable.

Now I would not say it sounds great, I was a little disappointed.

I would not buy again, I would buy another model, be it a little more expensive.

my kid loves it

there is not much to say... but when my kid comes to studio it's the first thing he grabs into hand and play's with it. good sounding, very good bulid quality, good price and a smile on my kid's face... priceless.

Hold it loosely

Great way to approximate the sound of hitting a jaw bone with loose teeth...

Interesting percussion instrument

I use in ocasional for some latin style songs, but it is very effective for use during peaceful public protests by NGOnor during summer and carnivals, sports hapennings, public celebrations etc.

Pros: interesting rear music effect, easy to use by non proffesional player, even by kids, students, very good for educational purposes, easy to find instructional videos..

Cons: should be cearful to avoid dissasemble. Be cearful with wooden block and small metal parts if used by kids...

Good sound effect

I bought this Vibra Slap for a concert piece. It produces a nice comic effect and sound projection is good. A better grip area would have been a plus. I also started using this instrument during kids' percussion lessons. They love the sound of it.

Great value for the money

Great deal for its cost.

flimsy

The product came apart shortly after unpacking. I can't justify the cost of sending it back - simply unusable. I have decided to invest in a more expensive model which I hope will offer higher quality.

Go on you know you want it.

I bought this on a whim and it's great fun. Don't know when I'm ever going to use it musically but to add to your percussion set up it's great.

It is made from good quality material but could be put together better.

vibraslap me on the a**!

amazingly and unexpectedly great! good loud sound but controllable. adjustment is easy and holding / carrying are no problem. purchased with a holder in order to do street marching, it has lived up to the name of slapping with various random street onlookers who are brave enough to give the big round knob a slap!

vibra slap is as vibra slap does

This is a decent product - it is a straight forward instrument and this one is well made. I don't have massive experience with vibra slaps, but i have heard them used a few times usually in a one off fashion as punctuation in a song, although when you experiment there are ways in which the sound may be controlled so that it could be feasible for a broader use building a pattern that does not drown out proceedings .

When i first played this i was a bit surprised that the sound was so low (compared to recorded vibra slaps i had heard before) - imagine the sound of Barry White as a rattlesnake and you're somewhere near it. That is not to criticise this Millenium VS200 it does what it needs to do and it has the unmistakable vibra slap sound, it has good presence - it is nice and loud and it is well made. I am looking forward to using it live and in the studio.

The vibraslap it is definitely a worth having instrument for gigs. It is a nice percussion instrument that helps filling some gaps in songs and giving it a cheerful touch. Nice quality in this Millenium one.
