Perfect Treble Recorder

This is a gorgeous treble recorder. I chose it purely based on the colour as I adore the light maple wood and it doesn't disappoint on appearance! The sound is beautifully rich and warm. Obviously you have to treat the instrument well and warm it up properly yourself so you don't damage the wood. I found that the sound can be slightly flat when not properly warmed up but I expect that is the same with all wooden instruments! I would definitely recommend this recorder to anyone looking to upgrade from plastic to wood, wanting an all-round lovely instrument!

Solid Instrument

So much easier to play than a cheap plastic recorder, with a much warmer and less shrill sound. Note that a wooden recorder needs to be treated with a little bit more love than a plastic recorder (assuming you want it to last and sound its best) - it should be disassembled after use so the cork joints retain their thickness and pressure, it needs to be cleaned and then left to dry out in the open air after playing to stop the wood from going moldy, and it needs to be slowly "broken in" over the first couple of months to achieve the best sound.
