A lovely soprano recorder

I decided to upgrade from my 32 year old wooden Moeck student recorder. I'm so pleased I did.

I set myself a budget and this model came within it. I read other reviews before making my purchase

It has a lovely sound. I'm certainly happy I took the plunge and bought this model. I'm very pleased with it

Great instrument!

This is an excellent instrument with a sweet yet powerful sound. I was surprised by its quick response and flexibility. It is a reliable instrument that projects well in all kinds of setups. I highly recommend it. The quality and the price are worth investing the money in.

I'm very happy with this Rottenburgh Soprano!

This was my first wooden descant recorder after playing a range of plastic recorders for a while and I am very pleased with it. I am not a professional or expert recorder player and use this recorder mainly for personal playing and learning. It has a nice, clear and bright tone with all notes easy to play. In my opinion it sounds better than most the top of the range plastic recorders I own and does not clog with condensation often. The Rottenburgh also looks aesthetically beautiful and appears quite expensive with the dark stain effect, while it also comes with a nice zipped box to keep it in.

It is impregnated with wax so does not require oiling like other wooden recorders.

Overall I am very pleased with this purchase.
