Pleasantly surprised.

I bought this descant recorder because of the other great reviews - this recorder is well worth every penny!

As other people have already said, the 'plastic' head joint is better than wooden head joints because it doesn't need much 'warming up' & doesn't need to be 'broken in' like full wooden recorders, head joint won't swell with moisture etc.

It does have a lovely tone compared to 'plastic' recorders.

My recorder teach is very impressed with this recorder!

I would certainly buy this one again if necessary.

Please can we get this range in tenor!!

Fantastic choice

This is a really beautiful sound, very nice to play, and wonderful value for the price. I play lots of recorders, and this is in my top three favourite ones. Having played other makes, I really like everything about the Mollenhauer 1094 and would recommend this model to any players - either new to recorders, or experienced players wanting a really good quality practice instrument.
