Just an OK recorder

I've used this recorder for several months. It was my first alto recorder, and I never felt it sounded as good as it should. Recently I purchased a Yamaha YRA-312B. To my surprise, I far prefer the sound and the look of the Yamaha which has a beautiful simulated rosewood finish. Also, I'm not keen on the Mollenhauer's keys for F and F#, which I never quite got comfortable with. So, my advice if you are considering the Mollenhauer 2246 Canta Alto, get a Yamaha plastic alto first. It may be all you need.
