Great value for the price

I use this pedal mostly as a groovy metronome while training.

Ease of use is a big plus: plug it in, find a pattern I want to play on and tune to desired speed.

One con might be the impossibility to make a custom pattern - at the same point it would make the pedal harder to use...

The sound is overall good, but will never be worth a real drum.

I'd definitely recommend this pedal for it's ease of use, as I already purchased 2!

It's a cool and handy little practice gadget

I don't really enjoy the sound that much, it's difficult to pair it with the guitar sound (Especially if you're playing metal), but I guess what can I expect, both signals are coming out of the same speaker and there's no real mixing involved. Regardless, for practicing riffs against handy drum tracks in a lot of different genres, this is a perfect tool.

I like that by adding it to my FX chain, I can add reverb to the drums as well, this makes it sound better mixed with the guitar.

I mainly use the Punk, Rock, Pop and Metal tracks, I speed them and slow them down to practice my chops.

Very high quality product...

best bang for the buck

easy to use and setup. makes so much more fun than playing to a metronome. Also good for practicing when no drummer is around. sounds are good. a little hard to switch and find the right sound, the case is not the best quality. but for this price it is awesome.

Nice little jam asistant

I was eyeballing something cheap enough to jam with at home, to not have to run a metronome and such. This seemed like a great option.

It is, at the end of the day, fairly limited to what kind of beats you can get, but it does have a lot of different ones. I've personally struggled with finding something dead simple 4/4 with no bells and whistles, suitable for a nice rock jam-out.

Soundwise - these are good. You can adjust the pitch pretty comfortably, making it dark, muddy or bright. The speed control isn't super comfy, but has a wide variety and doesn't seem to affect pitch much. Otherwise you can use tap tempo, but will have to finger in that tempo, as it's not bound to the on/off switch, and rather to a separate small button.

I was able to easily connect it via an instrument cable into a AUX jack adapter and into AUX IN of my amp. It has plenty of volume on tap, you will definitely not need as much at home :)

All in all, it's a usable and fairly cheap unit. But you might want to go for something more comfy.

Brilliant for practice

Added this to the end of my pedalboard, put my preamp behind it, attached headphones and BOOM! A full rig allowing me to practice with a drumkit and use all my effects without bothering my house mates. It makes practicing so much more fun and you'll notice it will improve your timing even after a few days. It's not a real drummer, and it's not programmable, but at this price, who's complaining?

Small machine huge impact

I 'have been using a Jamman loop station (which is awesome by the way) to record guitar loops over drum patterns, unfortunately Jammans patterns are very limited, but with this machine I have a wide palette of drum patters, easy to use at my disposal and it really spices up my playing

Limited but good!

For the price it works well as a preset drum machine, but it is very limited compared to programmable drum machines.. Great for practice time though!
