Unusable when direct connecting to an amp

The EQ is very strange, it has too much tremples when the cabin is off and I have it connected directly to input of the AMP.

When connecting to the RETURN, the sound seems to be a little bit more usable.

I have also the 005 that has far better sound with an amp.

Using this with the build-in cab, is OK though.

Get some sweet Friedman tone on your board!

This pedal is incredible. I've owned a few Friedman products and this really does get you into that sonic ballpark. The only downside is that the cab-sim isn't the best. I'd be happy to use it in an emergency but I got much better results when using the cab-sims in Wall of Sound.
