Mooer Trelicopter 4-stars Reviews
price and quality
No external noises or weird things happening. The item is very good, price-quality product. Speed knob is a bit too big, you can easily accidentally tune it wrong way... and those two others a bit too small... but other than that it is a great product for this price..
Don't be afraid of clicking/pulsing sound
Based on discussion boards this pedal makes strange pulsing click sound depending on speed knob. And I confirm this to be true.
This happens only IF you're using the pedal as only box between guitar and your amp. It seems that everyone are having this issue. The pedal is basically unusable that way.
But there is simple solution: place some pedal in front or place the tremolo in effects loop and the click sound disappeared. I was about to return the pedal but once I found out the proper placement for it I really enjoy it's sound!
Does its job
This is another very cost effective unit, one small anomaly is the slight volume increase when engaged which can catch you out a bit .
Compact tremolo pedal
Pros: small size makes it convenient as it can easily be carried around and doesn't take up much room on a pedal board
Cons: Pedal has to be powered by power supply, cannot be powered by a 9v battery and a small turn on the knobs makes a big difference I sound making it hard to get the perfect sound from it
Overall: This pedal is pretty good, few negatives but nothing major
Good, but might want a buffer and lots of power nearby
Overall, I really like the sound of this pedal. Nice and simple, but versatile. Sounds good...what more could you need? My only concern: this pedal is supposed to be true bypass, but there have been times I would swear I could hear the tremolo slightly affecting my signal even when the pedal was off. I have heard other people say the same thing...some say it goes away when placed directly after a buffer. Also make sure it's getting plenty of juice. I haven't had this problem for quite a while, but I can't say for sure what made it go away. Hopefully it never comes back!
Nice surprise!
Never had I tried a Mooer pedal but I decided to try one for the pedal I use least frequently on my board, which is the Tremolo. So my Trelicopter arrived, I installed it to the chain and it was as good as anything really! Don't let the size fool you, this pedal produces big changes.
Maybe on a downnote is tpo the fact that because it's so small, two of the buttons had to be dwarfed. It's no problem for me personally but might be for some people, I don't know.
Recommend it!
Great sounding tremolo pedal
I from start want to tell that in my opinion it is the best pedal in it´s price-category.
When you see it in reality it is even smaler than already awaited. However it is carefully processed and has a black varnished metall body. Beside the standard connections (in- and output and 9volt power supply in), it has an on/off button with red led-indicator lamp.
The bis main swith has a wide range of tempo/speed control which really fits to all needs. The depth regulator reduces or rises the intensity of the effect very effective. The bias regulator last not least helps to regulate the sound character/color.
For me an ideal supplement which fits due to it´s size to every pedal board.
