Drummer from another mother

I can play only on DFAM for days. You can get really interesting sounds. Lot od fun.

Best sound

Best sound in the market for this synth. From plucky percussion sounds to ambient glitchy things. Good for understanding the modular synthesis.

My first Moog

Love it, sometimes run it through a Line 6 Helix stomp = endless fun

Lack of midi could be a deal breaker for some but if you got some spare cash there is always the MAFD

Recommended because of the uniqueness

I bought the DFAM about a year ago.

It is a unique sounding musical instrument.

In my personal feeling and like the rest of the products in "Moog Sound Studio" it is made in a rather sloppy way - but it is the best instrument among them.

Moog can surprise only positively!

This device is a masterpiece!

The variety of possibilities allows you to make some common sounds from bass, kick and snare (according to included template!) to experimental or drone.

Highly recommend if you are looking for a device which unlocks your creativity!

Great like really great but is a learning curve

It’s a fantastic synth and very different to all other products on the market. Not really a drum machine, not really a synth but a strange and very cool mix of the two

I like it alot.

I love it but I wish it had a filter-freq input so that i could put the velocity or the pitch output in the filter-freq.

Great but takes a lot of patience and time

If you're a synth freak and have all the "modular" knowledge, this is a real treat. I am in the category of the "lazy people who don't read manuals" so I never took the time to fully understand how the DFAM works. Regardless, it's great fun and can create amazing percussions and loops with an Industrial feel.

This is definitely not for everyone, but it's great fun and can get you hooked for hours. Now the only thing missing is a Subharmonicon to link this with alongside my Grandmother.

pure sound quality!!

pros

Endless choises in groove patterns. As long as you start patching you can create all sorts of nasty sounds.

Cons

Tempo adjustment is very very sensitive.

No midi out.

So in order to let my daw know the exact bpm of the groove,i find manually the bpm by tapping the beat on an online metronome.

Not so easy but at least it works for me
