Great Workhorse

It's a brilliant workhorse of an interface.

I personally really like the sound of current generation of MOTU preamp, and the 8M has added features of VLimit and Softclip for each input, which is great, for the peace of mind, if anything, when tracking something with wide dynamic range, or unpredictable singers! ;-)

All in all, I've experienced zero issue with the functionality/reliability/sound since the purchase.

MOTU's browser based Pro Audio Control software is a little sluggish.

I understand it's designed to (potentially) control a complex array of AVB hardwares over a network, but it's something that I'd like to see improved in the future.
