Native Instruments Komplete Audio 6 MK2 Reviews
Solid buy!
For a person starting out or upgrading from something like a UMC22, this is a perfect interface. The 4 analogue inputs came in clutch when a friend came in with a bass and an electric and there was no need to be unplugging and plugging in cables, it was a setup and go. The build quality feels solid! I recommend!
Sadly couldn't get it to work without distortion
Had to send it back after extensive support from Native Instruments. Couldn't get it to work without the sound being distorted. Seems to be a more common problem, but now that I've researched it, also on some other audio interfaces.
If you get it to work properly, it's probably a great audio interface.
Worth it
good device for this money
Beeindruckt!
Klare Kaufempfehlung!
So intuitive!!
After a long time deciding between models, I went with this one.
As soon as the whole order arrived, this was the item I wante to check out the most.
I unboxed it and everything was so intuitive. In a blink of an eye I had everything connected and ready for a great audioflow.
No Sound from the Headphones output
Its a great device for that price but I discovered that it doesn't work perfectly when using macOS Big Sur and above, some features doesn't work.. It hurts but I have to send this great sound card back because the headphones output doesn't give any sound, it doesn't matter how open your volumes, it gives a very quiet faint sound which you can never record vocals with..
Good interface, just not for Eurorack
I want to give this interface a full five stars as it's a great device and does its job pretty well.
However, I find they're wrongly marketing it as a DC-coupled interface, even with the disclaimer it's only 4vpp, as it's pretty useless for CV control purposes. In some cases it can't even trigger gates.
I'm guessing this is the reason B-Stock units are such a common sight.
Other than that, excellent little audio interface.
So good
Very good device. Best in this price range? Maybe
Great soundcard
Great mobile soundcard for performing.
works fantastically, just wished it had a better integration for Linux systems so that one could for example control gain of inputs 3-4. Also it would be nice if it could send out higher DC voltages in order to work better with, say, modular gear.
Output distorted and output for both headphones with no sound!
The sound of the two outputs is distorted - according to Native Instruments, this is due to the new MacOS Big Sur. This unit came with the output for both headphones with no sound, even at maximum power! I'm sending it back to repair or replace this one.
Besides this, it's a very well done. The knobs are firm (plastic) but not cheap/loose stuff.
I'm using it to record acoustic guitars and I use a Rode NT1-A to record vocals, it works perfect for me!
Very good
Very good soundcard on that price range. DC coupled outputs are great to use your daw with your eurorack.
Very nice but misses some really important routing options
It has many ins and outs. It has nice quality sound and low latency driver. But the main problem I found for me is I cannot route different signals through the main outs and through the headphones.
A Preamp with Stereo-Button
Availability of Stereo-Button, makes this preamp somehow unique.
Everything is good, except phones output limit. The output power is too low.
Use it to record vinyl dj-sets and to record my tracks made on mpcx and mixed down on an analog mixingboard afterwards. 4 inputs so I never have to swith the cables. Good soundcard, comes with a lot of software. No complaints so far.
Amazing
I bought the NI Audio 6 MK2 for my home studio project.
I was impressed with the build quality right out of the box. feels that it could withstand traveling in your bag.
I use it to record guitar tracks. The direct monitoring is helpful with that and the sound is clear and crisp. The knobs feel great and are not in the way of one and other. I would highly recommend this product.
nice!)
i think its best audio interface for these money in this price range!
