Nektar Impact GX 49 5-stars Reviews
Lovely lightweight controller for desktop use
I love having this just above my hands at my studio desk. It's light enough for nimble playing and a nice slim build. I've had excellent customer service from Nektar in the past as well, which is why I went for this as my second controller.
Bought this for a music course. Was not expecting much.
But for the price, its actually very nice and compatible with the software I use which is FL Studio. So its a win win
Would recommend if you do not want to go broke but have a very nice product.
Very good keyboard
Very happy with this one! Great keys, nice features, integrates great with Reaper. Lightweight and feels sturdy. So far so good.
I recommend
My main input for DAW, robust, simple and efficient, good feel. Some difference in distance between keys, only noticeable from detailist persons.
Standalone keyboard
This keyboard was excellent but it can only be used when connected to laptop. It was too advanced for my daughter who just wanted a keyboard to play and create music.
Simple and perfect
I love this controller, it's simple, has a very lean footprint and feels fantastic to play. well done Nektar.
good news
my first key is quite pleasant, but I think that the return of the keys could be more pleasant
excellant keyboard
easy to set up and slimline a bit on the light sude but dont affect use
Excellent value for money
I wanted a MIDI controller to play virtual instruments, particularly drums. Other products at this price point offer drum pads but fewer keys. I chose the GX 49 because it has a full-size keyboard, allowing me to try my hand playing synths, organs, mellotrons etc. Works flawlessly. Keys feel good. A bargain!
Easy to use
Easy to use in every DAW
Met My Expectations
It's the first midi controller I've ever used so I can't really compare it with others. That being said, it works as advertised (I'm using it with FL Studio and I haven't encountered any problems with its integration). It feels well built and quite sturdy (I'm not planning to carry it around so your results may vary but I expect it to last years in home conditions - hopefully I'm not wrong - I only have it for couple of months so far :) ). I also really like the full size keys and their response - I'm not a piano player but I'd dare to say if you decide to learn playing piano on this controller, you should be able to switch to the real thing later quite easily (just don't forget to buy sustain pedal if that's your intention since it's not included). Overal, I'm happy with the value I got for my money. If you're, like I was, looking for a way to make composing and producing music on a computer much more intuitive and fun than just clicking virtual keyboard on your screen, this keyboard delivers just that, and some more :)
Review
Great Midiboard and love it already
Very good controller
Top quality. Nice features. And it looks preety on the table)
Would highly recommend as the first midi-keyboard
Great Value!
It really does not feel like a semi-weighted keyboard.
For the price, this is a great product especially for producers and beat makers on the move!
Highly recommended. It would fit into any pro studio too.
It was my first MIDI controller. Does the job well for the price, I really loved it.
Small and functional, and that's his huge advantage. Simple operation. Immediate pairing with Garage Band in macbook air but I did not like the keyboard. But for that money enough. Hammer drive is three times more expensive. I recommend something better for piano music. For synetiser style I think it suits.
The best sounding controler
With the touch of controler keys you can control the sound, and comparing with Roland and Swissonic with this one i could control The sound(piano) the best. It has some special touch to it. And yes i am a guittar player :) It is also wery lightwaight so easy to traver.. I don't know what is with wrong with this site but i can ton copy paste anymore to correct my english and am experiencing lags.everything goes in slow motion?Sorry!
Does what it says on the tin.
First time buying a midi-controller. I struggled at first to decide what was suitable. I have to say, for my purposes, this baby rocks. Great response from the keys. Does not look cheap. The DAW controller is a great plus. Came well packaged and Bitwig DAW, although I am using with Ableton. It works seamlessly. Excellent keyboard, great price.
Good keyboard
Great keyboard for the price.
Pros
Easy setup, pleasure to play.
Wheels have very nice tactile feel.
Cons
Plastic feels a bit thin, but for home use this keyboard is ok.
