Nektar Impact LX61+ Reviews
Good for the money
Good build, nice layout.
Keys a bit low weighted, expected them to be nicer. Works well, good for its price range.
Not a hardcore MIDI controller user, but I've used it with Pro Tools for a while and had no problems at all. The keyboard and pads feel nice. The faders seem a little bit cheap and I was not using them very much but when I did, I didn't have any issues with them. It's quite light and compact for its number of keys and other features. Very nice keyboard.
Great midi controller for a great price
I am very happy with this controller, the keys feel good(as good as the much more expensive komplete kontrol which I have tried), it has enough mixer channels, and faders, and daw integration with almost any program.
Really the only problem I see its that it doent have after touch and keyboard split.
Does everything I need it to, very capably
Nektar wasn't a brand I was aware of until researching controllers, but I was impressed by the feature set, reviews, and price point of the LX61+. I've been very impressed and recommended it to my cousin - he's bought one and is also pleased.
The keys respond just as I'd expect a synth-type action to do - that may not be to everyone's taste, but it's just a question of what you're looking for.
I don't find the drum pads to be as expressive and responsive as I'd like them to be, so if that's the primary function for you I'd probably look elsewhere. They're fine, just not great (with the caveat that I'm not the world's best pad-drummer).
Once I'd realised that the driver (which comes with the unit) has to be installed for full integration, the LX61+ plays very well with Cubase, and the pots are easily assigned and responsive.
In short, this has been a great success - does exactly what I needed a controller to do, and does it reliably and competently. Highly recommend.
Very Good!
Faders, knobs and velocity sensitive pads? Im even using it with video games.
Very nice controller for the price!!!
I just got it and so far it exceeded my expectations, the LX61+ is well integrated in my case in Logic Pro X, but I'm sure is the same for every mainstream Daw.
Pros : The build quality is good and everything works great plus it has a lot of features to control your daw and of course the price
Cons : I wish they would have mapped 3rd party instruments as well like Massive , Serum etc not only Logics own instruments ,but you can do that manually
Overall for the price is a very good controller I highly recommend it !!!!
