Amazing MIDI Controller

I bought this MIDI controller for production and I'm completely happy with it. For the price class, it has good quality and works without any issues.

Could be easier to map with different daws, specially with live

It's ok

For the price, it's ok. But it's a bit hard to program the keyboard. It also doesn't support midi expression pedals, which is a pity. Keys feel quite cheap compared to other models. But it does what it's supposed to do, and has a nice set of faders, knobs and pads.

Everything you need for a fair price

Great quality price ratio. Perfect keyboard to sit next to your desk to play any part you might need in your production. It is sensitive enough to capture an expressive piano or string part. It has more programmable knobs then you usually need to control your soft synths (and DAW if want). But not too complicated so it does not get in the way of a faster workflow.

Good quality

Does what you need it to do, and feels good for the price. Well made product.

A great keyboard

Had this a couple of years now and love it. Midi was something new to me when I bought this (mainly an acoustic guitar player till then), I'm no expert now but very much appreciate the benefits of the facilities available with the keyboard.

Good materials and product

I work with Logic X and this keyboard has plenty of functions to work faster. The only thing could be a bit better would be the faders. The rest, really top machine!

I now click less

I was very pleased with the build quality of this keyboard. It's is a very solid and sturdy machine. I do not find the keys to noisy as some reviewers claim. The DAW integration must be the best out there. I use FL Studio and I didn't have to change the default presets except for controlling 3rd party plugins.

However I noticed that one key is not as sensitive as the others. I takes more energy for it to register and is thus not velocity sensitive. I dexided this was too minor as it doesn't affect my overall experience.

A wonderful inexpensive midi controller

the LX61+ feels great to operate. Its many features are a blessing for the price and the manual is written plain and simple and is easy to understands. It interfaces without issues with Win10, MacOS and iOS and has not given me any problems.

The handling of the keys is absolutely good and I did not have the feeling that there was any difference in the individual keys, neither in touch nor sensitivity.

The overall feel of the device is obviously not premium and while setting it up or carrying it around it even feels a bit flimsy. Which is not a problem in the end as it feels absolutely good while playing it.

For the price it seems there is no better option.

Integrates perfectly

My second midi controller and this is brilliant. It is nice and light but sturdy with all moving parts nice to the touch. But more importantly it integrates well with my DAW Studio 1 perfectly. Once you've downloaded the respective driver and restarted your DAW your good to go, drum/scene pads, mixer slider controls, transport controls and vST controls all run smoothly. Nice feel on the keys too, highly recommended.

Very simple for starters

If your just getting into the world of digital music and you need a controller, this I recommend to start with. Once you get used to its usage you find out what those things are capable of. Or, if you jus need some keys for background sounds or synths. If your a pro, this will go short.

NEED TO GET USED TO IT

FOR A NEWBIE IT'S A BIT OVERWHELMING ALL THE POSSIBILITIES BUT FOR NOW I AM SATISFIED. APPEARS TO BE WELL MADE AND WITH MORE FUNTIONS THAN A BEGINNER NEEDS.

Not compatible with Ableton, too sad...

Adaptations to all common DAWs including Logic, Cubase, Studio One, Reason, Bitwig and others...

That's what it says in the description, I lost my time and I'm giving this piece of plastic back and changing it for a real keyboard compatible with Ableton, which is a more than common DAW, this is unacceptable, i cannot use half of the features...

Good product

For me it is a good product in general, but only there is a little detail, that I don't really like the keys, they aren't bad, but I prefer more consistency and resistance.

A perfect upgrade from the 20 key I used to play.

This Keyboard is everything I needed in a keyboard. Plenty of keys and pads to get what I needed. There's Plenty of features that I honestly don't know how to use yet, but the easy playability and layout will aide me once I get around to reading the manual.

I admittedly have little experience or knowledge in MIDI Keyboards so maybe this statement is from a place of ignorance but I don't see myself "Upgrading" from this Keyboard anytime soon.

I knew what I will get

I give it this feedback in regard with the overall playability. Don't get me wrong, I knew what I will get for the money.

The worst thing, are the keys - you don't have any feedback, are very light and if you force it sideways, it can be overlapped with another key.

If you want to learn to play piano/keys, don't buy it. I'm using it for pads (nothing more), in tandem with another piano so it's for this, is ok.

The signal delay is acceptable, there is no lag. The sensibility of the key is on 5 or 8 levels (not from the books, from what I've experienced), so not that great.

Overall, is cheap instrument, don't expect anything special.
