Amazing budget Neumann!

I usually read a lot before buying any kind of hardware, or musical instrument. I kinda took some risk, because there was not enough information for that particular model. I can tell you that this mic is the real deal, amazing sound, depth, but keep in mind that you would nee a good preamp. Then you will benefit most!

Outstanding mic!

I use this mics for recording small choirs, guitar, male and female singers, speech, pretty much everything! I found it very usefull it has selectable polar pattern, for recording in non-studio locations (church, big hall,...).

I bought two of them for stereo needs, since it has figure 8 pattern, I use them for MS stereo and it sounds just fantastic. I also use them in AB stereo combination for recording in church, which also produces great results.

The only bad thing I can say is about polar pattern switch - sometimes I have to press it multiple times just to change it from one pattern to another (it's a little "fiddly").

But the sound is just awesome, and the rest of a build quality is as to be expected from Neumann: excellent.

Brilliant Professional Condenser Microphone.

This single microphone captures my Gretsch Broadkaster drum kit perfectly in an overhead position and set up in a warm sounding room like your home lounge for example.

I have used a TLM103 in the same situation which is equally as good but the advantage with the TLM107 is the ability to change polar patterns.

Its the best I have ever tried and recommend it above most other microphones in this price range.

Defiantly recommended the Neumann EA 4ni shock mount with this microphone.
