Amazing Pre-amp/EQ

I have tube Pultec EQ's and thought I'd try a Neve. The Neve is very rich open and lush sounding and the EQ is right there with the Pultecs. Just amazing, makes everything sound phat and lush! I use this for recording with a Neumann tube mic, but also can be used as a guitar pre-amp to give a little more top end on my vintage tweed champ. (champ is just volume w/ no tone controls)

I also use it to plug my bass guitar in and then out to tape or DAW. A great direct box.

By far the best mic pre I've used. It is very 3D sounding with a lot of depth. Brings out the fullness on any source. Can be very clean with headroom and knock it up a few clicks to get a phat tone saturated with rich harmonics. I'm impressed.
