Rather Cheap feeling

One of the rare Novation products that feels cheap and not great to play on. the Keys are very plastic feeling and i would not recommend it. Very bulky and plastic.

A good MIDI controller

Using this with Ableton Live. Plasticky but robust and quite nice looking. Best thing about it is that the keyboard is nice to play and has great aftertouch. The implementation with Live is pretty good : the sliders are useful a volume control for the different tracks. The one thing I absolutely hate is the speed sensitive rotary controllers and this also means that I don't use Automap at all. I just can't get consistent results with these rotaries and have ended up using my old MPD instead. That's my biggest gripe with this keyboard.

Plug n play

This midi keyboard has very nice functions if U have ableton, very practical and easy to use.If yoou dont already own ableton, it comes with a lite version that U can upgrade for a decent price (money saving).

On the other side I would really recommend ANY other interface for the knobs, Im very sorry to say I havent seen such poor quality knobs in the last years. cheap plastic knobs with no resistance and U have to turn more than 360° to make a 180° on a VST or abletton itself.

The keyboard is average I've seen better but for that price U cant ask much.

I would say very easy to use, very nice for starting producing your music and gettting used to ableton (if U upgrade it ofc). plastic knobs should be improved if they keep the Impulse series.
