Nux Masamune Boost & Compressor

A powerful and effective pedal

I needed a compressor and this combo with a boost looked ideal.

You have plenty of settings to mess around with, to get the sound you want. You can have boost only, compressor only, or both simultaneously. You can choose whether to put the boost into the compressor, the compressor into the boost. You can adjust the limit for compression, the drive level, the sustain level, etc.

The boost and compressor are both quite powerful, so it's a rather strong package. I keep mine between 40-50% or 10-12-o'clock and that meets all my needs as an ambient guitarist with occassional rock/metal, blues and jazz.

The sound is great, the quality feels good.

It does what it's supposed to do, I have no complaints or issues. Considering the effective range of this pedal, it's a pretty good deal in my opinion.

Great compressor and booster, very potent on clean channel,,, on the crunch channel a bit more difficult to notice the booster volume but significally the tone is tighter and much pleasant...
