great sound

This is a really unique pedal from Old blood noise endeavor.Love the sound.

Extremely inspiring

For creative purposes, this pedal excels greatly. My favourite setting is "Crush", which delivers haunting drones on the background, and the possibility to sustain any note or chord using the Hold switch its also a plus.

Price might be too steep, but its worth it.

Pros: Great sounds out of it, Controls very responsive, Awesome art design

Cons: Price, and maybe the bone-colored knobs look a bit weird, thats it !

All Five Stars pedal

Ambient music oriented "pad reverb" with three modes for colouring the sound, plus a great feeling for live interaction with the controls, all in all this pedal is pure magic. If you like long reverbs, from super clean to dirty to self oscillating, or wish to pitch shift the reverb tone, this is the pedal you look for. Great for guitars and synthesizers!

The solid build, the great sound response, will make you sure this pedal is the perfect choice. It's great at the beginning of a pedal chain, to create long swells (or infinite ones), but even further in the chain it gives amazing results for the clarity of the sound.

I see non cons, apart that a stereo version of this pedal would be an instant buy.

A really interesting reverb with a massive sound

I've been using the pedal for quite some time now and it was exactly what I hoped for. I've been using with guitar and analog synths and it reacts very well with both.

If you already have a reverb and you want a more experimental pedal to create huge ambient textures, add more darkness to your clean guitar sound, or maybe awaken some great old one sleeping under you city, then this is it!

Best Pad Reverb

If you want a pad reverb this is it. The verb sounds amazing, and the extra ability to have pitched or bitcrushed reverb is amazing.

The Old Blood Noise Endeavors Dark Star is Superb

I purchased The Dark Star a few months ago, and I've got no regrets about my purchase. I love a good reverb and The Dark Star is one of the best sounding pedals I've ever played through. This pedal offers a wide variety of unique sounds. Months later, and the Dark Star's tonal options continue to inspire.

Very good reverb. I use it for removing my attack early in the chain. It's very good for this. I like the modulation possibilities.

Unique pedal

I don't think you can find these types of sounds in any other reverb pedal, I might be wrong but in all the videos of reverb pedals I couldn't find one that does either the delay or the pitch mode, let alone the bit-crush reverb.

If You are searching for an interesting sound this is what I recommend! An expression pedal is very useful to achive the best of this pedal.
