Probably the best 8" splash ever. Absolutely versatile. All kinds of music. Bright crispy sound, that cuts perfect, nice volume, and matches almos all cymbal sets, from Hard Rock heavy weight like HH Sabian or other 2002 Paiste, to Jazzy sets like K Zildjian, Bosphorus, Istambul or HQ intermediates Sabian like AAX for all styles. Sturdy 2002 for heavy accent's. Musical bright tones. Thin and shimmering. Sing's very well for medium and lighter hits too. Mixes very well with nice sustain. Paiste Pristine Cymbal Swiss Quality. Welcome to the family little one.

Fantastic Cymbal

This is a great sounding cymbal.

I have recently started using the Paiste 2002 cymbal series and I am very impressed with them.

This cymbal to me has the classic "splash" sound. I have used other splash cymbals before, that didn't quite live up to the expectations I had. This was not the case for this cymbal, it sounds fantastic.

The cymbal is light, thin and the sound really cuts through with a clean, sharp and bright sound.

The finish on the cymbal is nice, I think it looks pretty cool too with the Paiste 2002 red logos.

I fully recommend trying not only this cymbal, but any of the Paiste 2002 series.
