very satisfied

Exactly what I was hoping for, a 'reasonably priced' ride that has nice stick definition and fair amount of wash and can be played with lighter (7A) sticks.

Can even be used as a crash.

Responds really nice, ideal for quieter sessions/small venues. Decent enough for jazz although it is a little on the bright side.

All my other cymbals are in thin/paperthin range and this one fits in very nicely.

Considering the price, I have no other option but to give it full 5 stars.

Doesn't cut through the mix as a ride

I've been playing this ride for a year now. It sounds really nice on its own but it's not a loud ride for sure. If it's hit harder it wahses away and doesn't really cut through mix (I play some light rock and blues). The bell is REALLY nice though!

Fantastic cymbal

I purchased this cymbal to be used as a large crash/crash ride and I couldn't be happier.

Mostly used for live performance where the projection and stick definition are fantastic. Lovely bright, high pitch when used as a crash and bright and crisp when crashing. I have yet to use this cymbal for live recording but the clarity and control along with the great bell pitch, I have no worries that it well perform exceptionally.

Great for beginners looking to get a great start up set going or even for regularly playing drummers. It is a thin cymbal that holds up well under pressure and perfect for styles ranging from Jazz to Pop Rock but I would not recommend as a crash ride if you are a particularly heavy playing drummer.

Overall this is a fantastic cymbal and a great addition to any setup. Paiste PST7 range is amazing for sound and spend as you won't break the bank but you'll end up with a fantastic sounding cymbal.
