Palmer PAN 01 5-stars Reviews
Super strong
Very strong and very high quality DI. I use it for many purposes, connecting pedals to mixer and eliminating humm and noise
Does it's job perfectly
I bought one of these for recording active basses in my home studio. I was kinda prejudiced because I met a lot of negative opinions about cheap DI boxes. But be wary not! For almost 3 months so far of recording I've never experienced any noise, hum or hiss. This is a quality product from my point of view.
It got hard metal housing and it is sturdy, although it is ridiculously small - same size as open palm :D Never had any issues with this DI box! The singnal is clear and noise free. It does its job perfectly. I recommend it!
BEST
Best price, best performance. Small and light weighted. I recommend for everyone.
Great overall
Smooth signal i'm using it for my fender P bass to get i nice clean DI tone.
Solid metal body, small in size & its passive so i don't have to bother with batteries or power connectors
*****
Quality for a great price
Pretty much like everything from palmer it does what it is supposed to do and it is very afforable!
Straight-forward and solid
Not much to say here. This thing does the job and is super solid and reliable! Easy to use, and built like a tank.
Basic DI, very good for the money! recommended
Palmer PAN 01
Nothing wrong with these. They are far better than the likes of Behringer and work as well as some of my more expensive versions.
Highly recommended.
the industry standard
I use it on my minilogue. Would recommend!
cheap and reliable
title say it all...
Very reliable
I did not know the brand palmer and this piece of gear was a big surprise for me. Sounds very for my active bass and contributes for my bass recordings.
Nice DI Box
Works smooth and clean.
Hardware is solid. Simple to use.
Good & cheap
Good quality for the money.
solid DI
takes abuse and comes back for more every time. I own 5 of these.
To Palmers credit -they all sound the same. a quality not found often even in higher priced boxes.
Nice cheap gear
I have used it for bass, synth and also guitar. Also in Live shows and in recording. Really like the Link Out option. Very useful buy. Before this we as a band recorded base directly into interface, now, we can record it and play through amp at the same time, and sound quality is definiately enough.
Also we are using this at Live settings, I had a gig, where I had to put guitar straight D.I. and this box did it's thing. Nice and sturdy. Happy with this purchase
DI box
Simple and effective. Makes connecting an instrument to the desk really easy. Recommended 100%
Great DI
It simply does what a DI box should do, no hums, just pure sound. Great value for money!
Very handy for studio recording!
Very sturdy and well made passive DI Box. I currently use it to record my active bass input during our band practice session, haven't used it at a live gig yet. The sound is great as far as I can tell but I am no audiophile. Definitely worth investing in, the price tag makes it an optimum choice when you are just starting out and dunno what to go for.
Excelent product
It has a bit retro design, but it goes unnoticed on the ground.
It's very simple and easy to work with.
It's still a passive, single channel DI box only, so it does limit when you work with various instruments. I bought also the dual channel Samson S-direct, witch has an active option and a price still in range, witch could be a better option depending on the needs.
Super Sonic DI Box for the budget price and German quality!
I bought some of this DI boxes. I also have some Radial DI. If compare them I prefer Palmer because of price range and the same quality of the sound.
And it's German quality by the way!
I don't think that the weight of Palmer's DI box is problem.
I have checked it for the bass-guitar. It sounds perfect to me. It's also good for the any mono source of output.
