Palmer PAN 02 5-stars Reviews
Palmer Active D.I.
All the Palmer D.I. boxes are great sounding and very good value for money
Great for everything
I am using only Palmer DIs, because of their quality and durability. The active one are more or less for for basses and acoustic guitars. The pasive one I am using for keyboards, and other high level input. They're like the SM57, indestructible! RnR
tool for the job
If you're a recording musician - get one and never let go
Great little DI
I've used this live and in the studio. Works great in both applications. No issues, would definitely recommend
nice little box
use it for recording guitar and bass.
pros:
almost transparent
build like a tank, will last years
Quality for a great price
Great product that does what it has to do and is very affordable
It is "only" a DI box
It does it`s job very well, I even get excellent feedback on the DI recordings wich is essential when I am Reamping guitartracks.
Palmer is hereforth my go to brand for guitar studioperhapsials until my income has increased, and even then I can imagine sticking woth palmer.
great job guys!
heavy duty
heavy duty DI box, just run a phantom power and perfect, sound quality is natural
Great little box
The only qualm I have with this device is that it can be a little noisy when powered via phantom power. As such, it is better to use batteries when used in a recording setting.
For live use, powering via phantom power is perfectly fine.
The construction of this unit is great - really solid product.
Simple & Effective
I needed an active D.I. box and my luthier suggested this one. It's simple and straightforward to use and the sound is good. The 'link out' is handy in that it allows you to go into an amp, whilst using the 'balanced out' to go to the mixing desk or multi-track recorder...
Ground lift switch is handy too, as well as the -30db switch.
Simplified DI Box with great tone
This does what it says on the box. It's a simplified DI box for guitar or bass with just the essential features. There aren't a myriad of buttons which purists may prefer. The tone is warm and clear. The unit is well built and made to last. It even comes with a 5 year warranty!
