Solid and good adjustability

I'm a beginner drummer but wanted to replace my cheap stool as it seemed to rotate quite easily and was creaking as it did so, which was a nightmare for recording.

This stool (I struggle with the term throne, being opposed to the concept of monarchy) is very solid by comparison, doesn't move in use, makes no noise and also has a much better height range, which has allowed me improve my drumming position. In fact it goes much higher than I need, and would probably work as a small bar stool.

It seems perfectly comfortable but I'm not particularly heavy and spend at least an hour a day on a cheap bike saddle so I don't have very high standards there.

Pearl knows hardware

I needed a cheap throne for my electronic kit. I didnt like the sound of some of the reviews for the cheapest seats so I went for this one. Pearl hardware is always good, in my opinion. This seat is no exception. Rock solid, well made - and in some ways nicer than the more expensive Sonor seat I already have. The Pearl is suprisingly light, but thats a good thing, as it never feels weak of flimsy. The rubber feet are also nice and chunky. If I have a criticism it is that it is quite firm to sit on. But, its not a big deal - its just different to the Sonor. I may end up prefering it. Anyway, I recommend this throne!

A good one

Classic Pearl quality, the double-braced legs makes it very rigid. The seat material works well during long, sweaty drum sessions. The rubber in the feet seems to be good, avoiding the rubber to break and the metal digging into the floor.

Very reasonably priced, good buy.
