Great bass pedal

The quality and feel are very nice.

good pedal

very versatile pedal, the only thing is that the chain drive is positioned a bit too far front (even though that you can remove the orange plastic support) and will tend to rub against, thus damage your bass drum head. This can be fixed with some adjustments but still it's a downer. Good pedal otherwise.

Excellent Value

Sturdy build quality at an exceptional price level. Bought for a college music society so it sees heavy usage and its holding up well so far. My only dislike is that there is only a single chain drive mechanism. I feel that for the price and brand there should have at least been a double chain mechanism. Would defiantly recommend this product to any drummer looking for hardware on a budget.

Simple and good

Nice looking, robust, silent and simple bass drum pedal. I've been using it for a year now and I'm very satisfied. Recommended

Amazing!!

For the money this pedal will not be beaten..

I have played kick pedals 3 times the price and they are not as smooth as this.

I highly recommend it to drummers of any level!!

Best cheap Pedal on the market

I've been through lots of pedals during all the years I play drums but I have to say that this Pearl is one of the nicest feeling out there (for me).

I actually bought it as a 'cheap back up pedal' to my main one but ended up using this one 9 out of 10 times.

Generally it's quite a simple concept and doesn't have too many options to adjust things. If that's what you're looking for I'd recommend you keep looking.

If you're a player like me who just wants a solid, simple, great feeling pedal, the P-930 is definitely your guy.

Especially keeping in mind the very cheap price, this pedal is almost unbeatable.

Highly recommended!

Great pedal at any price

I recently bought this to replace a dw4000 pedal on my main kit, which I needed to use elsewhere, and I couldn't be happier. Positive response, with a great action. There is a nice locking feature on the tension spring. I think I would have liked velcro underneath, because although I'm not a hard hitter, I do use a dixson drum riser and velcro would give me a bit more confidence. But other than that, the build, finish and features can't be matched at this price range, I'm sure of it.

Great pedal for the price!

Its a well built and hardy pedal. Great price. The clasp feature to lock your spring in place is great. If it becomes loose , it won,t come apart. There are no spike screws, which are really missed, as pedal moves during gigs.

great pedal

Bottom line is you know what you get when you buy Pearl. Bought this as a replacement for a millennium brand model that came with initial hardware. What a difference. The chain mechanism is smooth, strike action crisp and I think this has given a much better sound from the kick drum. Definitely recommend used for regular gigging with a Gretsch Catalina kit

Best pedal for the money

This pedal is definitely the best pedal for the money that you can buy in my opinion. It's response and versatility is excellent and reminiscent of a much more expensive pedal.
