Better e-string than most

It is certainly an upgrade to most e-strings and doesn't not have the same whistling problem as a lot of others.

My Favourite E String

I play a few different styles of music and this E with Violino G D A make a top sounding, cheapish set that plays and feels great. I don't play above 3rd position so can't comment on any 'fiddle'y (sorry) stuff.

well i've been using a lot of strings lately to chose what's best for me

those ones are very affordrable as spare strings and they sound so bright and sharp

they deliver a quality sound close to evah pirazzi strings. for me i use them as spare E strings instead of buying any other strings that will be kinda cheaper but won't be worth it.

those ones you can just change em and keep em and use em as a non spare strings too

Simply better

If your fiddle is warm and richly expressive until you hit the E string, but then becomes hard & metallic in tone, try this Pirastro Gold. I use Evah Pirazzi strings and this transformed the top octave of my violin, matching the tone of the other strings perfectly. I will not be going back....
