Very nice medium/hard pair
As all the Raymond Curfs mallets, the finish is very good. For one of the best price range, you have a professional pair in your hands. This one is perfect for powerful clear rhythmic passages from Romantic repertoire (such as the Finale from Brahms 1st). The pleasuring weight on the head makes it powerful, but not exaggeratedly, so it doesn't become a technical problem. The saturation point is very far into the forte dynamics, so you don't need to retain yourself.
It's very powerful, but never aggressive. A great investment !
