great sticks, poor tips

I´ve been using Vic Firth 7AN for many years, and wanted to try a round wooden tip stick that was a bit longer.

These play great and give me a better feel than the VF.

However, for me the tips break down relatively quickly.

I tend to hit cymbals with the tip mostly, so I´m guessing this is what´s destroying the sticks.

Bigger than you think

I was looking for a slightly longer 7A stick with a round top and that's what I got. Unfortunately they are also thicker than the usual 7A you might encounter. Still, they are light and have a great feel to them. All in all a good choice for anyone looking for a long 7A that doesn't mind a little thicker body.
