Very quiet and cheap coating

I bought 2 sets and was very disappointed when I tried it. First, the coating is extremely cheap and rips even when installing the string. The string will be "bare metal" instantly every where it rubs against a fret or a pick.

Also, I am used to Elixir Strings (which have great coating). I bought these as Elixir doesn't produce short scale strings. However, I found the Pyramid to be extremely quiet. They are almost half the volume of the Elixir, with a lack of brightness and punch.

I left the strings for a total of 5 minutes and won't be using them again. I am left with a brand new unopened set unfortunatly.
