Played in strings

Phosphor Bronze without the annoying 'zing' of new strings.

Last very long.

Glad I Tried These Strings

These strings are not found in every local music shop were I am from, but it's worth it to get a set and try them. They play and sound great.

Budgetstrings but TOP

Great sound, crystal-clear, long durability for the best price, what else can one ask for? Highly recommended.

OK sound, low quality

Sound is fine for the price.

Quality so-so, winding on G string breaks after few weeks of light playing.

A really good sound but for a very short time

I bought this strings because of their very cheap price. When I used them the first week they were great, a very bright sound. Then they started getting rusty and not comfortable to play in a very short time.

I suggest them only for a concert but not if you are gonna play every day or once in a while.

These pyramid acoustic guitar strings are very nice

They hold there tuning well and have a very nice balanced

acoustic sound

They are as good as most other brands out there so i would recommend them to anyone looking for a nice balance and nice feeling string

Best strings I've ever had

I've been playing guitar intermittently for 30 years and th elast few years intensively.

I started looking closely at the different types of guitar strings sinc eI have a highly sensitive nervous sytem. This makes me a detective of details.

I've tried most types of strings (nickel, bronze, gold, nylon) and most brands (Fender, D'Addario, Ernie Ball, Optima,...).

These still sound great after 10 days, most don't even last a week, have a rich and deep tone, play soft and nice and feel good on the fingers.

I've found "MY" strings. Hope this helps you in your own quest.

pyramid western strings

really a very good product made from one of the most known european manufacterer ( germany) smmoth in action, long lasting a really cool tone with strummings or fingerstyle.... really focused and in shape with alternative tunings and bottleneck styles

It may actually be a game changer for you

I am a guitar player but also a rec. engineer. I have 3 acoustics and a 6-string banjo, so keeping them always record-ready is an issue for my budget.

These strings are amazing for the money, nice intonation and sound, not too bright, not too mellow and without that tin-like random resonances that D'Addario's have.

The alloy is not that typical and the strings also work on electric guitars (better than other string brands), something useful when tracking piano-like el. guitar parts.

Cons...well, the feel is slightly more sticky than some other brands, but I always use string conditioners so that's not a problem for me.

This was the second bunch I bought and there will be more to come.

Quality in material and sound

With this set you can feel and hear how quality strings they really are. And they last above the average.

Great everyday strings at a great price.

I really like the sound of these, especially when they're worn in a bit. Nice and smooth under the fingers. Not the highest quality but great everyday strings for not a lot of money...

A great standard strings

Its pretty fine these strings..theyre very cheap i may say. feels great but your not getting the best quality as you pay for what you get for. so this is just fine for beginners and mid.

Personally I prefer Martins

I bought these strings for my Columbus (cheap Gibson Humingbird clone).

When I first put them on my guitar, they did sound very bright and loud for the heavy gauge.

However, that bright "sparkle" you get with new strings didn't last for too long for me.

Some players aren't a fan of that brighter sound on heavier strings, but I do like it so I was a little disappointed that they didn't sound new for very long (maybe a week to 10 days).

They are durable and tough though! Despite some bashing from my fathers heavier bluesy style of playing and the bashing's of en enthusiastic toddler, not one string snapped in the year I had them on for. (Yes, I know, I shouldn't leave strings on for a whole year, that's just lazy. :( .)

Good replacement strings for your 2nd guitar

I like a little heavier gauge for acoustic playing. I dug out my old Ibanez acoustic and put these into it. They sound well, play well and keep the tune. Although I would not place these onto a 300+ € guitar.

good value

i always use d'addarios but then i'm probably too fussy

i get these for my mate and he swears by them - i can never hear his guitar in the mix anyhow so what can i say? lol
