RCF Art 712-A MK IV Reviews
Great Speaker
Have awhile now they take anything you can throw at them
RCF Art 712-A MK IV
I have a 3 pcs. of these EXCELLENT product.
My concern only the switch between (LINE & MIC). My default setting is in LINE because I always using it on my gig. One time, I notice on my gig, one of these are low in sound even in full volume, I check the cable and even the mixer, changing both speaker. but still not working property. Those nights with the band are not happy with me because of one my speaker are not working property.
I check when I reach my home, I found out that even you see the setting on LINE but it is on MIC,
My advice is when you experienced this, always check the setting on the back (LINE or MIC)
I'm happy that in ART 9 Series they removed this.
By the way, I am a RCF fan.
I have 2pcs. of RCF Art 715 MK IV also and plan to buy more.
PS.
RCF speakers are sold out fast (that's what I noticed)
First impressions after owning 415 mk1 in the past, is the quite better defined mids and highs, but was also surprised by the well rounded and fast bass response produced on that 12 inch woofer. Did not test properly as i need to burn them in, so i will come back after taking them to work. Extremely well made cabinets, feel quite rugged and very solid for being plastic. I am however under the impression that you need to be careful with those amps being passively cooled, i d stay away from direct sunlight on these speakers.
for his range its top
Very happy !!
I just bought two pieces for my personal use ,they have amazing loud and clear sound (lose a bit quality when start touching the limits but i'm surprised ,very powerfully).
Pros
- very powerfull sound for the money
- easy to use
- easy to carry
Cons
- lose fidelity when at high volumes
- bass is not enough for a mobile dj (in my perspective)
After all , i LOVE IT ,it worth every cent .in future i'm thinking to add an 8003-as II for a complete sound.
So far so good.
I've only had these a week. They're light, clear and loud enough for my needs. I play solo and duo acoustic shows in the main.
No complaints so far.
(update: I've been using these for 150 gigs a year for 5 years, they're great)
If they continue to perform well, they would get 5 stars.
