Recording King RD-328 Aged Adirondack 5-stars Reviews
A poor man´s Martin :D
As a Bluegrass guitarplayer I was looking for a real Dreadnought with the right specs, this has it all! This is a Martin D-28 clone but with a nicer pricelevel, so if you don´t care about the logo on the headstock, this is for you. I have seen that there is some problems with the quality check, but mine was completly perfect, nothing had to be changed or fixed, and if you order one with any problem just send it back and get it replaced, Thooman has great guaranties, I have played guitar for 40 years and for this amount of money you get a real good guitar with great volume and tone.
Top spec for a reasonable outlay.
Lovely top notch top on great quality materials - on a par with my high value USA offerings. Great tone which rewards good playing technique, encourages good standard of playing.
Amazing sound and quality
I've been thinking about getting a Martin Acoustic for some time but sadly my budget just won't support my aspirations at this time. The Recording King has been mentioned in a number of forums as a credible alternative for a third of the price of a Martin. I can truly say I've not been disappointed! The built quality becomes apparent from the moment you lief the Recording King 328 out of the box. The sound is big with spine tingling bass notes and clear mids. I have a number of other guitars but this one has moved to the front of the line. Can't put it down!!!
Pros:
Fantastic bass and clear mids.
Craftsman ship you can actually feel
Louder than I had expected
Cons:
A bit shiny looking for my taste - but the sound makes me forget that.
