Awesome.

I got this head because I play mostly heavy music and it improved my snare sound by a lot. Really.

Very well made, durable.

Depending on taste, it may require moongel as it does not completely mute overtones.

A great snare drum head!

It is one one the best quality / price rate for coated drum head for me.

Remo emperor x

Used to play the remo cs on my snare, but tried out the emperor x.

It has become my go to head now, sounds great on any snare or tuning, and its 2-ply so it can take a beating

I went for this drum head because i've never used it before and I must say I am very surprised by it's durability and very attack tone

Good drum head. Dot adds some control to the sound and some durability so you will get a bit more life out of it.

After trying numerous snare heads, this one seems to be the one. Not too expensive, extremely great sounding. Plus, it is one tough guy, you won't be breaking it in a few drum sessions, that's for sure.
