The most standard combination
Bottom tighter, you get standard sound, much better compared to the Evans G1 and hazy 300 that came default on my Tama snare
Just classic
the pack gives you exactly what it promises. aSad to see the prices keep going up though.
Remo For The Win
Remo or Evans, there's a big split between users.
It all boils down to personal preference.
Me, I'm a Remo fan.
These just ooze quality and have the distinctive Remo tone and feel.
Remo 14" Ambassador Coated Set
The classics for a reason, nice warm open tone with lot's of possibilities!
The Best!
The best head for an honest representation of the drums sound qualities
Good general head
This is a good combination of heads to get if you want to change both heads on your snare. My experience is that this Ambassador batter head is very realisticly giving back the sound your snaredrum is capable of making. This is best on mid-high level snare drums, not so much on the low end unfortunately.
Excellent
Exactly what they say on the tin. Very versatile and will suit all genres. Can always expect quality from Remo
Super
Our drummer is happy!
Classic snare sound
I'm using these heads on my Mapex mars 6.5 snare drum, and I'm very happy with it.
They sound great and are easy to tune, with a very defined attack and a decent amount of sustain, just the sound I was looking for.
Pros:
Classic snare sound
Easy to tune
Good quality
Bang for the buck
Cons:
The batter head doesn't last as long as some other brands
Nice
Great quality and very nice sound
