My snare looks absolutely beautiful now. The sound is also amazing and for the style i'm currently playing (punk), i think it works better than a classic ambassador coated. I find that when i play strong rimshots, the attack is very pronounced without losing the body of the sound. Almost like it's being compressed. Love it.

Tried that one last weekend on a live gig. The head completely fulfilled my expectations. The head allows a wide range of tuning(high,middle and low) without affecting to much the feel and the rebound, keeping a great sound. The dot lets you to play with a harder a sharper sound and stay in a good shape even after the strongest hits, perfect for rock music. Combined with the Ambassador Snare Reso, this head will give you some good results. Plus the funky colored look. Enjoy!
