Remo 14" Silent Stroke Mesh Head 5-stars Reviews
Delivers on what it promises
No product will ever make your drums absolutely silent, but these are probably among the next best things you can buy, if you want to practice while keeping the noise levels down.
Profit maximized
A fair supply for the price paid. Profit maximized. Supply will be done according to the agreed time
Tone and low volume
Great practice heads to reduce the volume while still maintaining good tone. Some increased rebound but can be somewhat alleviated by tuning down slightly. Perfect for home drumming.
Very nice and quiet sound perfect for home or small places gigs :)
Great
Was surprised how much tone can be gotten out of these, you can really make your toms quiet without sacrificing your musicality. I would highly recommend these heads.
Great product
Ideal for practice at home, great feel, good price.
awesome
feels great to play and im amazed how quiet these mesh heads are. fully recommend for anyone that needs quiet practice but wants to use their full drum setup, just add some low volume cymbals you can practice all day and night
If you can't make noise get this!
Theres really not much to it, you can't make noise, and you want to practice drums, this is the best choice out there.
It rebounds more than normal heads but you can still get good practice and fun out of them.
Fantastic way to convert your drums to electronic.
I've got this snare drum which looks nice but was otherwise terrible quality and the strainer stopped working. So I decided when I "went electric" to keep the drum and convert it to electronic with mesh heads and a trigger. This certainly does the job very well, making almost no noise at all. In fact it's significantly quieter than my actual electronic drum/cymbal pads!
Really silent
I thought it would be silent, but this is really quiet. My neibhours must love it as they don't hear me practicing any more. It is also strong, I've been using it for two months and it has not broken.
The bounce from it is a little different than from a normal drum head, but for the purpose, which is quiet practicing it works great.
Great
For my son to use on his bedroom kit. He says it is very good, giving good feel and (obviously) less noise. Perfect to practice.
Remo Quality
Brilliant product. The Silent Stroke Heads Work. Hard practice is never sacrificed. Loss of tone but manageable sound.

This product is what drummers from all over the world were waiting for . It's basically the solution to all your volume problems . If you have E-Drums Throw them buy acoustic ones and put these heads on . The feeling is the closest you can get to a real drum head and they are as quiet as a pad but also can give a tone out of the drums if you tune them a little high .
You can check out some videos on youtube and you will see for yourself how quiet and good for practise these heads are .
Stiv Black
excellent mesh
Simply the best mesh I have tried so far.
Great response, quiet and strong.
Great head for quiet practice!
Those mesh heads makes my acoustic drums sound a lot quiet. I have measured that full power stroke generates sound level around 90 dB, though with gentle stroke I got around 60 dB. Very close to real drum heads in terms of feeling and sound, though the rebound from mesh structure is a little bit higher than from normal heads. Anyway it is the most realistic practice option for acoustic drums in apartments for me.
Remo Silent Stroke Head
This has revolutionised my drum practice. With these heads, I can practice on my acoustic kit instead of my electric one.
