Lovin this

Good thinking combining a powerstroke 3 with a CS. Really lovin this head

Short and punchy

Really great bassdrum head if you want a short thumping bass sound and lots of attack. Especially when you put a falam slam on top of the black dot.

You also won't have to change it that often, it can really take a beating.

Great head!

I use this head on a Tama Starclassic Performer Birch/Bubinga 22x18 bass drum. I love it. Lots of attack and a nice sound.

Just What I was Looking For

Previously using normal CS Black Dot batter head with similar front head and no dampening, at all. Hard hitter, this gave a powerful acoustic sound out front but very boomy, slamming sound from behind.

These give just the right amount of dampening/control without loss of power and a very direct middle punch that was lacking.

You can aford to tension slightly higher also, giving a great playing response.

I'm delighted.
