Remo 14" Ambassador Snare Reso 5-stars Reviews
Do not have much to say about the product actually, except that the Remo Heads are one of the best on the market and always have fulfilled my expectations.
Great head!
Great head, standard! Best buy!
Great
I use this head as a resonant head on my snare and the result is amazing and i'm really pleased with it.
I really recommend it!
Transform your snare sound..
Combine this reso with decent wires and batter and you?ve got every chance of getting
A good snare drum sound. Great quality and strong, as I really crank up the reso head on my snares...
It's Remo!
Quality heads. What can I say? I've always used Remo. They never disappointed me.
I follow the Thömann technique of seating the head and I really recommend others to do the same, because that is one of the important steps to ensure proper tuning.
Remo what more can you say? GREAT1
best reso head ever
put this drum head at the bottom of your snare to make it sing . i tried many labels and different thickness but this one is the best for all music styles
Great snare reso head
This is my go to snare reso head. It's quite thin so it doesn't make the sound ring out to long but still a thick sound with a lot of attack. It is quite thin so it's not the most durable. Overall a great snare reso head at a great price.
BEST RESONANT SNARE HEAD EVER!
I used this drumhead on my <<Startone Star Drum Set Standard -BK>> drumset snare drum. It sounds realy good with <<Remo 14" Ambassador Suede>> what i used for batter side. Sound is exactly what i hoped because i heared good snare drum online and i tought that i should also get this snare sound and it's sounding awesome. It is not ringing like my old drumheads, and they doesn't even need a dampening gel or any kind of dampening on them, those drumheads sound beautiful even without it. If i will change this drumhead someday, i will change it to other <<Remo 14" Ambassador Snare Reso>> because now i know what is good choice! :) I recomend it to every drum player! Also i dont hear any buzzing on my snare anymore after i changed to this head! This is the best decission i've ever made!
The best snare head ever!
The absolute best snare head ever! For me this is the reference for every snare. I've used all kind of heads on my snares and still love this one the most. I highly recommend this as a snare head!
The best
Classic drumhead, can do anything with it and some gaffa.
high quality product - good price!
Great quality rim as well as the skin. Tunes well and very easy to fit. I can only recommend!
Can't go wrong with this one
I have used the Ambassador Reso on my maple and aluminium snares with very good results. This drum head provides everything one would expect - the sound is open and crisp, the skin is durable and reliable. This is my go-to resonant drum head for snares and I love it. You definitely can't go wrong with an Ambassador Reso.
If you are a fan what is not to like?
If the sound of these is what you are after, there isn't much to debate. They are very thin and they are cheaper than other branded heads. I find them a good starting off point because at least you start off with a decent head and an idea of maybe where you'd prefer the drum to be over time, higher, tighter, lower, flatter, crisper or darker etc, then you can go looking based on recommendations.
I use these on 5.5" and shallower snares, I use Evans on the 6" and deeper. I like that they are a classic head with a classic reliable sound and build quality, yet they aren't overpriced.
Very Nice!
I upgraded from my stock TAMA reso head and it sounds much better + tunes very well! Definitely recommend this!
Classic head
I use it for my main snare and I love it. Easy to tune and well made. I used to think the resonant head didn't matter but after changing stock heads to this, I was blown away by how much the sound improved.
Fits and tunes perfectly
This reso head suits my Ludwig snare perfectly. It is easy to fit and tunes perfectly.
In partnership with its batter head version the drum sounds great.
Remo Reso
I bought two of these, for both of my snare drums. One drum is a Sonor Bop snare, which had the original cheap reso head supplied with the kit, and the other is an old Tama which had a worn out head. I thought it was probably going to be a waste of time, as both drums functioned ok. The top heads were fine. But, adding new reso heads made a big difference to the sound. Louder and clearer in both cases. I really like Remo stuff. It always looks well made and sounds good. These reso heads were no exception. Recommended.
14" Remo Ambassador Snare Reso Head
REMO are always the number one choice for me when recording or playing live. The Ambassador series offers one of the brightest tones available with a long sustain depending on how you tune your drums. The punch you get on the snare with this clear rest underneath is amazing. Recommend 100%
Wonderful
Classic snare reso head that is my 'go to' when re skinning my snare. Tickles my strainer just right when I'm playing the batter. Don't think I'll be changing reso heads any time soon.
