This is my all around favorite drumhead for all my snare drums. Only have to buy one cause it lasts forever.
Standard head in the drumming industry. Never disappoints.

The workhorse
The most used snare head of all time? Probably. If you're not sure what kind of a head to get, this is a safe bet. You can add muffling if that's what your heart desires or you can leave it completely open.
Quite durable and I can't remember ever having a faulty Remo head over the 20+ years of using them.
A classic.
Balanced tone, good durability.

I have always played Remo. I find their heads reliable, durable, have lots of tone, wide tuning range, and hold the tuning well. I do not feel the need to switch brands. Recommended!

most classic drumhead out there, you can really hear your actual drum sound with this head.
