Remo quality - classic retro sounds

I've tried every brand, but always come back to Remo! Ambassador coated gives you that perfect early 60's sound or perfect for jazz application where brilliance and purity of tone, with an element of control is required!

Recommended!

I have always played Remo. I find their heads reliable, durable, have lots of tone, wide tuning range, and hold the tuning well. I do not feel the need to switch brands. Recommended!

Good Head

Remo is my preference for drum head companies. Never any quality issues. Great sound. Coated gives a warmer sound.

Reccomended.

Use as a tom resonant heat with vintage emperors batters. Great results.

Warm and friendly

I own a Sonor Bop kit. The factory fitted skins are not the greatest. So I changed them. What a big difference, especially on the 12" tom! Much bigger, warmer sound with a nice decay. Personnally, I like the look of these skins better, too. I dont like the clear skins which came with the kit. The inside of a mid-priced drum is not the prettiest of views!

Remo coated anbassador

These heads not only look good on any drum, but give warmth over a focused sound. These only work best in certain situations, but those situations they can come alive. With a mid to high tension, these heads allow the drum to focus in all the right places.

Coated heads gives a warmer sound

Remos are always Remos :-) I must say that I now a days prefer coted (or textured) heads since I think they deliver a warmer sound. The Ambassadors are good value for money and perform very well. They are not fancy, but rather does their work like the should. Mayby not the thing for you if you like low tuning. You could add "rings" on the toms and acheive a deeper sound though.

Use your head - trust only remo!

You really can't go wrong with Remo can you? Competitively priced but they seem far more consistant than the other 2 big competitors to me. I've been using this on my 12" snare and right from putting in on, it immediately made my snare sound professional despite being a low cost snare. I've tried other brands but i always return to Remo.

The best!

I don't think any plastic heads come close to the Remo Ambassador. There's a reason these have been an industry standard for 50 years!!

Remo 12" Ambassador Coated

Great skin. Compliments the other 10" coated ambassador beautifully. I am going to stick with this one, had an evans on it before but I much prefer the clear response this skin gives the shell
