I replaced the factory heads of a Gretsch Catalina Jazz. I am satisfied with them, the drum has a clearer, more massive and nicer sound.

Great all-round drum heads

The Remo Emperor drum heads are perfect for live gigs and for rehearsing. The sound is warm, with a lot of attack and sustain. They are very durable as they are quite thick. If you are looking for drums heads for recording I would recommend the Remo Ambassadors. They are great all-round drum heads.

An industry standard head.

These heads are industry standard. If your recording or playing live they are the business. All the big drummers are using them from rock to pop to world music they are the best head you can use.

Remo 12" Emperor Clear

Remo as ussual - good sounding, long lasting and not overpriced. Put this along with 10'' on toms, tuned easily, added some Moongel for damping and it is ready to rock :) I find these to sound quite bright and warm, so fits our style well!

quality and prize fits

Emperor Clear Drum Heads by Remo Inc. is probaly the best combination of the quality and price. I've used always used these drum heads for drums. They are sturdy and versatile. Well tuned they can make your drums sound decently. I would always recommend these drum heads for drummers.

Cheap but good sounding drumhead

The drumhead is cheap and easy to tune. It is very durable, I have very many rehearsals and gigs played with it. It is most suitable for pop and punk, as it brings a powerful and crisp sound.
